Unbelievable, so much for doing things for the good of the game.
How many weeks do you clash with your feds side, presumably if they are away then the 12:30 ko, is not necessary?

Did you give saasl your feds fixtures and ask them to arrange so that clashes do not occur? they're normally very good at arranging things like that. It could mean you only need one odd kick off time
appears fairly obvious they only get the ground when the feds do.

It staggers me that so called football people would rather take a forfeit than play the game. Grow up guys play football and leave the crap out of it.

What I am quoting is my questions about the situation. This could have been avoided with better planning.

It doesn't really matter. The amatuer league was aware of the situation and as the governing body allowed it. So why clubs need to make a song and dance about it is ridiculous. It's unbelievable how the clubs want to dictate the situation. If the league didn't have an issue why the hell should the clubs. It only affects about half a dozen and only happens once to them. Seriously cannot believe this has gotten this much air time.

So I take it you didn't approach SAASL and ask them to avoid clashes then, that would seem to be the best situation for all.

Why didn't you make the effort to avoid this clash. That would have been the most sensible thing to do and the best for all clubs in the league. It seems for some reason though that your club is expecting some type of different treatment. Firstly, you were put into the wrong division and then saasl saw sense and put you to your rightful place, now you're expecting people to change all plans just for your club.

Hopefully now saasl will once again see sense and tell you to kick off at normal times instead of trying to gain an advantage by having earlier kick off times.

What time did you kick off today if your feds weren't at home?

Just been told that only 2 weeks do they play at home at the same time as their feds. This means the early kick offs make no sense if true.

Maybe all teams could change their kick off times to suit them best, I might start a team that play tuesdays at noomn for next season.

Good God!!
I haven't felt the need to comment on here for some time but reading this particular thread made me want to contribute.
SHAME ON YOU ! Not two weeks ago you were all feeling dejected about having only 9 teams in our league....we get a 10th and guess what? you're happy for literally 2 seconds before you're ripping into one of the clubs....and what was their crime?...violence?roudy supporters?chasing refs with hatchets?...oh no...MUCH WORSE!! One team is making you play ONE GAME ....in SIX MONTHS .....A FEW HOURS EARLY! Good God throw them out of the league i say!
What has the world come to when we can't show a bit of empathy towards a fellow club and make a small allowance over one entire season.
..and please ......builders working Saturdays? One game? dates in advance?
Let's show a bit of compassion eh?
Cobra's...we are playing you this Saturday and while the kick off time is not ideal and yes we are two players down because of it,i say fair enough,we'll see you there and you have my full support for playing your games at this time.
I certainly will NOT be joining anybody in making a protest to the league.
Good Luck teams for this season and especially to the Cobras...although i hope we stuff you this week!

the point is, their reasoning behind it makes no sense. Apparently they can't clash with the feds, but 7 of their games aren't even at the same place.

Why do they feel the need to lie about their reasonings. Why can't we just get the truth?

My team will be playing tuesdays at midday next year - i assume you're OK with that as well.

Just rang the league office. They have approved your Tuesday 12pm kick-off Englishman, but said it will still take a whole week to get the results on the web

King Cobra, I think it's better if you just ignore this man from now on. He is clearly here for the sole reason of making trouble. Earlier pages of this thread you will see we have tried to explain the situation and it is up to him if he wants to carry on like a little child.

To the gentleman from Mclaren District, thanks for your support and please feel free to join us at our club rooms after the match. We have been lucky enough to be given some quality facilities at Weigall.

Cheers and see you Saturday. It should be 2 very competitive games. We have heard good things about your team so it will be good to see how we go against you guys.

Thanks again.

It's a simple question deserving of a simple answer.

Then as a Millwall 'fan' would look to start a fight with anyone around him.... then move on to fighting amongst themselves.

Hardly then end of the world a few changes to kick off times and maybe try going with the flow rather than wasting energy on a poitless ramble that no one else other than a couple of people give a cokneys fat arse about...
Awaiting the witty and pointless retort to which I will give the attention it deserves.. f all

Since GIAE plays in Sunday O35 occasionally, which all teams have differing kick off times, it's quite clear he's only here for a windup.

As a Div 4 player, one match a year matters nought to me.

Why bring cockneys into this? Seems a bit silly. I hate most of them as well.

I don't see why they refuse to answer a simple question. Maybe it's because they've been found out once already.

Clearly, there's another reason behind this kick off time seeing as the games don't clas.

Why won't they answer i?

Ridiculous concept, why should the ffsa control what happens in a saasl game. How many games does this happen for, surely not all your games clash with the feds team. Why didn't saasl try to avoid the clashes, they're normally pretty good with things like that.
I thought the FFSA didn't recognize the SAASL, so as far ar they are concerned there is no other game going on.
