PHE 6 - 1 TTG
Great come back by the lads this week after a poor game last week... TTG had a chance to get back in it at 3-1 with a penalty which was turned down due to offside... This result changed the game and east pushed on and punished the TTG defence...

Thanks for the TTG boys for hanging around for presentations and a beer.

Tough year ahead and big games every week... Love it!!

I won't post on here too often about my own side but lufc you need to change glasses champ...
1st half we were fortunate to go in at 2-2, farm def the better side.
2nd half we dominated , 1 chance? Stam, Pearce x 3 , Louie and Prescott should've all scored prior to the winner .....
We won't be bullied by anybody, so when ya talk about chief, tell everyone about the tackles from behind that went unpunished...

first off, I said i didnt see the apparent throat grab... and I said there wasnt a foul there..... so i wasnt "talking about him" at all.

second of all, I didnt say there werent 'shots on goal' i said IMO they werent clear chances.... maybe you should change your glasses??

Common SID, both sides put in some willing challenges... a lot went unpunished, both ways! Ref lost a bit of control by not dealing with a number of situations.

Your view of the game is spot on though. Farm better in the first with your boys gaining control of the middle in the second. Sadly it was an unfortunate mistake that allowed you to walk away with all 3 points!

No question jogger, as I said, we won't be bullied...
It was tit for tat with challenges....
No problem at all, but my previous post outlines why I didn't agree with lufc..
I just hope he's not a real Leeds supporter :)

First time in a few years we've won every game on the day (including chicks). No lucky wins. Cheers to the Para hills lads hanging around after.

Yeah bringing it back to 3-2 would have certainly changed the contest, especially when we had both our CB's off the park with injury at one point!
However it wasn't a penalty shout we had the ball in the back of the Net! The crossed was whipped in, it came off a PHE arm and then bounced forward and was ruled offside.... Should have either been a penalty or a goal imo.

But aw well, you win some and you lose some, and today we just happened to lose. By a lot. :(

Cheers for the feed after the game as well, cheered us up a bit!

Pontians good value for the win today. Thought we knocked the ball about quite well in difficult conditions and defended quite well bar maybe the last 15. Now onto Inter next week
