Yeah Diegom - watch out Sat. Div 3.

If you cant win the league by over 12 points then something must be wrong with Villa.

Sat Div 3 = Sun Div 6 or there abouts.

Time will tell if Villa stick around - once you get to Sat Div 1 and win a championship then you can say Villa are back but you have a long way to go before you do that.

where in my post have I said "That Villa are BACK"?????
i said above, if u can read - That most of our regular players are BACK
And watch out Div 3 (all in fun)
It may take a few years before Villa is at its full potential

Yeah Div 3 sat is not what we are used to, but with alot of young guys coming through this year, we are looking at rebuilding for the future.
Dont pass judgement without getting ur facts right - it just lowers ur profile on here.

You are also quick to pass judgement Diegom - in reference to my comment in saying they are back my point was that going from Sun Div 1 to Sat Div 3 is a step back and when (and if) they eventually do make it to Sat Div 1 then they are in my eyes back to where they where in terms of 1 of the top amateur clubs.

A lot can happen between now and Sat Div 1 such as folding.

After all that good luck to Villa .

Not hurting at all, just wondered why the comments on here state Villa would be folding, or why players wouldnt be back if your change of leagues is to do with Players preference. Wonderd if there was another reason?

Villa deserved their league win a couple years ago,

Different person you must have met referring arrested - not me.

Well sorry mr friend, but ur MAIL is TOTALLY WRONG!!!

We have got about 26 players to training on tuesday with our internal trial game. The committe is new and apparently younger. The facilities are fantastic, the ground is ok and the players are 85% the same as last year.

Who is ur "mail" or contact???

The change from Devitt ave to metro was something ther OLD committee believed would of been a great move. Boy did we learn the hard way. The facilities at Metro were great however, the lack of room for training and the unavailabilty of using their main pitch on matchdays was a big problem. Also the school grounds at devitt ave were undergoing a major overhaul, the Principle at the time made it very difficult for the club to remain.
The name change was something the Metro board wanted, and we agreed last year.
The move to saturday was due to players not bein able to play on sundays, the youngers players wanting to play on saturdays.
The venue switch was due to the Metro debacle (involving room for train and play) and we needed a new ground to accomodate the players.

As far as the rumours of Adelaide Villa folding go - Its Total and utter B.S.
The club looks like they have done the right thing and hopefully can compete in Div 1 saturdays in a couple of years.

THATS IT!

New ground - Sam Johnson Sportsground off torrens road at renown park

im not one to interfere in the running of another club but ive got to stick up for my old primary school here. the school has been very accomadating with the new club there.

other than adding a few more spriklers, no major developments have occured!!!

are you telling everything???????

Believe me, their are MORE underlying issues with which i am not prepared to go into.
But lets say that the cricket pitch, the child care and the rent debacle was enough

BTW, I also went to that school in junior primary

Trimboli to Para Hills East - almost a done deal.

Expect to see him play for the red and white in the next 2 to 3 weeks.

Any truth to this Avenell??

It is true, Avenell is off to London. He will play the first 4-5 games for us though. Dissappointing for us as he has looked good in a few trial games.

Our other new signing played yesterday and had a cracking game considering he has had one training session since September.

As for Trimmer to PHE, I thought he was signed up at Raiders?
