Mind you, Noarlunga didnt score when they had the multiple chances to, so you cant complain really. Also, the 25 minute halves are a bit harsh.

The game is getting shorter with each report
First half was longer than the second. The second seemed to be over in no time at all. I dont know if that was the quality of the football I was watching (actually yes I do, it wasnt that) but the ref seemed like he just wanted the game over. One of the Noarlunga lads gave him an absolute showering within about 2 minutes of kick off in the first half, the poor guy called him over and was about a foot shorter than him!

Seen a penalty given where the player was 3 seconds and about 10m after the foul before he went down. He was stumbling to keep his feet in that time though. He finally went down over the goal line.

just a guess, but are you trying to say the game started late because of another game being late? If it was me playing or coaching I wouldve asked for it to be postponed untill you can get a full 90 minutes in.
Polonia was told by the league that our game against seaford A's would be at 3pm instrad of 2.45. No probs, its only 15 mins.
So im just wondering if the A's game got moved why did they still have to cut the B's game short? was there a big delay before the B's kicked off??

B's kicked off at 1.30pm
The ref told the players if the game went into extra time that it would be 2 mins each way
Pretzel Position wrote:Yeah, looks like the game before the B's ran over.
B's kicked off after 1:30 though. Closer to 2.
And 2 minutes each way, that has to be a joke!
ahh ok so it was just a domino effect...
funny thing we got told it will be later kick off bcoz the ref may not make it on time... he was there well before we rocked up, full kit on ready to go.... perhaps straight from another game?? do the do more then 1 a day???
lol 2 mins!!!

So what was your overall opinion of the game? Your review of the game? Always good to get some outside feedback
Yeah, it was a bit slow paced, but it was B's. Seaford controlled the middle of the pitch pretty well. The man of the match wouldve been the big tall lad that they played in the centre of midfield. Neither team had a striker on the pitch though or we couldve seen some goals. I think Seaford were expecting the young player up front to do something, but the Noarlunga centre half had him in his back pocket all game. Goals were flukes, all three of them. Which club are you from?

Cheers for that. Im from Noarlunga. The big lad in the middle for them trained with us a fair bit during preseason then left for Seaford at the last minute.

Africa v Wanderers a few years back had extra time of just five minutes each way.

Seafords keeper was only a last minute volunteer. Normally an outfield player but they had no one a available so he said he'd give it a crack. Pulled off some great stops though probably could have done better for the goal. Still, he put in a great effort and probably kept them in the game. The seaford A's were told there would be no extra time for the B's and if required it would be going straight to pens
