quick to point the finger Frappe.Frappe wrote:Apparently the $$$ aren't there anymore and they have fallen deep into debt
I am sure they will still line up this year as they always have.
Maybe Limnos should have spoken to Florina and merged so Limnos could have gone straight to Div 1 - Adelaide Florina has a good ring to it...

I cant see Florina folding Frappe, they have plenty of boys out there having a kick, and there B's will be strong again this year, not sure about their A's though, dont know of any big signings as yet.
Hope they dont fold, there a good strong club and after years of trying, and buying their way to get into div 1, would be a shame to see them end like that. Seems to be the way for most of greek clubs for some reason, hope this trend ends real quick!

If you read my post Frappe I was commenting on the Florina post - I was trying to say that your comment was a load of schite in a polite way but u obviously didn't understand.Frappe wrote:This topic is about Florina. Thanks for your contribution, but if I had wanted to hear from somebody with your IQ, I'd be at my local foodland talking to the fruit.
If you are going to start a rumour and you want people to respect your posts at least have something to back it up and it doesn't have to be names but at least where you heard it from.
I dont play for Florina but know they have been round long enough (and we relegated them to DIV 3 about 8 years back) to know that if they were to fold leaks would have come out long before your post.

I heard the Florina rumour also. Appartently the cost of chicken wings has doubled and considering they go through about 50kgs each Friday night, the money is running out. I heard they may have to get rid of the girls on Friday night also and that Uncle Cracker and Prez will serve at the bar with their shirts off!! Graham asked if he could but the new coach said that they are trying to attract players not turn them away so he put a stop to it. The B team Chelsea crazy coach wasn't happy though and will resign unless Graham can take his top off also. Sounds like the place is faling apart down there
Are my sources correct?

I heard it on the web so it has to be true. I was sent a chain email. Everytime I passed it on to 5 people, Florina was donated a free chicken wing to feed the boys on a Friday night. I did the right thing and sent it to 200 people. Thats 40 chicken wings. That should take care of Evan for one week at least.

Someone at our club had a late night phone call from an unnamed Florina committee member asking if we would like to share facilities, training equipment, bbq etc. The person thinks that they copy everything we do so they may as well be apart of the Farm. Look out for Ingle Farm Florina next year. Florina House is only around the corner from Walkley Park.
This is a rumour but will be discussed at our next committee meeting. I for one would welcome the lamb on the spit and chicken wings at Ingle Farm

I believe the unnamed Florina committee member received the call lastnite, not made it
Anyway all negotiations are off due to Ingle farm continuous poaching of all Florina ideas
