Portable Goals???

Post by Steve#4 »

Looking at options for portable goals for next season, has anyone used the PVC style "Samba Goals"?
If so, do they stand up to Senior training?

Anyone got other easy/lightweight options they use?

Cheers,

We have them at training and as good as they are for small sided games I wouldn't recommend them for any shooting practice.

Cheers,
Iggies use BowNet portable goals (or similiar brand). Pretty easy to move and store.

Yep, we have the 3 x 2 and the next size down...Really looking for a full size or close to full size option.

Not sure about them??? We bought bownets off them 2 x 1m and they were close to $500 each. We have tried the collapsible tent pole/net style and they don't last. The blow up goals puncture too easy and the mice seem to like the taste of them..:)

I know Port Rd sells them (allum) for about $3000 a set but they can't show me pictures of them and I don't know anyone that have bought them. Would like to see the quality before forking out that sought of cash.

Just fishing for info on what other clubs use that have the pleasure of sharing their grounds with a summer sport.

Pila Group based in Sydney have them.

Salisbury Council would only allow us to get these as they were at the time the only goals that met the Australian standard

Yeah, have been speaking with them and got a quote...$5,000 from them and $3,000 at Port rd, was hoping someone has purchased them
to see the $2,000 difference in quality.

I have seen the Pila ones and they are quality no doubt, bit heavy to move though the distance we would have to from storage.
