I can hear the din from my living room.

1. Soundwave is an all ages and licensed event. All patrons must have a ticket and it is an offence to enter the venue without a ticket.
2. You will not be able to purchase or consume alcohol unless you have valid photo I.D.
3. We strongly recommend young people from 15 to 18 be accompanied by a responsible adult (18 OR OVER).
4. We strongly recommend young people under 15 be accompanied by a parent guardian.
5. We advise that Soundwave is not suitable for children under 12 and they will not be admitted.

Is it just me or does points one and five contradict each other.

Was actually disappointed with Metallica. Great set list, up until I left but didn't think they played that well.

Offspring were surprising good. Garbage were brilliant. Slayer rocked, Blink were average but fun and the 15 mins I got to see of Linkin Park was brilliant.

45,000 people and it seemed like everyone was really well behaved.

sound pollution from stage to stage is still an issue
