Happy with the 2 points but since Cannavaro has been missing we have collected all 9 points on offer scoring 9 and only conceding the 1!

Will be interesting if he starts v the Viola on the weekend.

While were winning and not conceding Id keep him on the bench.

Great signing, I mean he is no Aronica, but will definitely be an asset.

Some concerns over his lack of recent playing time, but could be a long term solution when Campagnaro leaves.

is only 27 which is a bonus.

If we can collect the 3 points v Lazio it will open up a 9point gap from 2nd to 3rd.

Genoas winner deep in stoppages gave me great satisfaction

Inter loss to Siena away even more joy

Roma losing as well was met with great enthusiasm

Was hoping Chievo could pull something out of the hat with an equaliser but alas...

Allegri admitting it was no penalty on the death v Udinese this morning

Milan in with a shout for the scudetto i think if results go their way.

Sunday 10pm game followed by Giostra 12.15am game then a EPL game finished off with 6.15am Monday morning game is taking my toll!!!!!

SSC Napoli vs Lazio Sunday morning 6.15am our time at the Olimpico - what a game. Live on RAI

A win for us will widen the gap to 9 pts between second and third and it may well the be a two horse race, although I can see Milan being sneaky and having something to say about that.

Klose definitely out (he always hurts us there) and Hernanes a doubt, although they are now saying he will play with a Phantom of the Opera mask, Gazza style.

Can't wait

Very handy point that keeps us 6 points ahead of Lazio and infront head to head for CL spot.

Juvemerda and Milan the winner in this result.

Keeps Naps and Lazio close to Milan. Milan will only keep collecting points from now to end of season and am sure will qualify for CL.

Juvemerda open up 5 point gap.

Looks like only way to catch Juvemerda is to beat them March 1 at home then try to match them result for result until end of the season.

Hopefully Juvemerda can go all the way to semifinals Champions League.

Long way to go.

In the end given that we were not great until after half time, the point is golden.

I distinctly remember Juventus going there and losing a few weeks back, so the result is probably a good one.

Juve should win it - with the squad they have there should be no excuses whatsoever.

Lazio are very very well coached - great structure, but as the game went on, they were forced to defend deeper and deeper which led to the inevitable. Great game though.

agree, LAzio attacked us from the start and could of scored another goal.
2nd half, the "brilliant" Napoli apperead and deserved the goal

the game could of gone ether way with both teams hitting the crossbar and shots just wide...

a point wa sa fair result

Not quiet, some people busy at work!!

Basically got bounced ok - I think they f*cked us at our own game to be honest.

Not good enough at home, had not lost there in 14 years until the last game vs PSV and now 2 on the bounce.

Oh well, played a strong enough side, got sucker punched. More important game this weekend vs Sampdoria.

^Except they didn't get a penalty this match!

What match was Cannavaro watching? Samp played quite well in the first half against Napoli and deserved to be in front. They dropped deeper as the second half dragged on, but I felt overall it was a fine performance from them. Napoli a little lackluster, perhaps feeling the pressure after Juve dropped points?

Samp were tough opposition & deserved their point.
Thought we could have had an early penalty for a challenge on Cavani & painful to watch Hamsik come so close late on.

4 points in 4 league games
2 goals scored in lat 6 games in all competition

Not good form at all.

Fair result in Naples but how Vucinic and Dzemaili missed those sitters!!!

Last season Juventus only dropped 2 points in their last 11 games so I cant see us catching them.

I think Milan has a better chance.

Once again we were in a great position mid season to attack the scudetto but instead of signing 2 decent players that would walk into our 1st 11 we sign 3 players that are warming the bench. Thats the difference between us and the other clubs. What was so hard to sign Balotelli on progressive payments like Milan did???? Im Sure we have 4-5 players we could offload for 5m each to come up with that money!!!!!!!!

Results again didnt go our way

2nd and even 3rd spot in serious danger at the moment.

Be happy if the season ended NOW!

Milan eased past Lazio
Roma winning ways
Fiorentina and Inter collecting maximum points when they should have ended in both draws!
Fiorentina just enough v Chievo (scored winner in last 10 mins)
and how the f.cuk Inter came back from 2-0 down at Catania (winner in injury time) AT CATANIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
had got me throwing my remote against the wall!!!!
We couldnt even score 1 goal past them against 10 men all game!!

Juventus have not won a Serie A game in Naples since a 2-1 result in September 2000, followed by four consecutive defeats and two draw. In all competition.

Napoli have won only one of their last seven games against Juve, the Coppa Italia Final in May 2012. The Partenopei are unbeaten in 11 Serie A rounds, but the last five were draws.

Giorgio Chiellini has scored three goals against Napoli in his career, two of them at the San Paolo, as they become his joint favourite targets along with Lazio. The defender hadn’t found the net since a 3-1 win over Catania on February 18, 2012. Gokhan Inler has now scored five times this season from outside the penalty area, all from open play.

Goran Pandev has not scored in 20 Serie A games, as his last strike was against Udinese on October 7. Juventus have now scored 10 goals in the opening 15 minutes, more than any other team.

Dont worry about Hamsik, how many happen in Liverpool? - it gets reported because its Hamsik, if it was anyone else no one would care.

I suppose you would be happy now Liverpool have almost reached the magical 40 point mark.

And we should equalised after then.

Should would could - fair result in the end I dont think anyone could complain about the result.

Its been over 6 weeks since this thread has been active!!!!

You would think we had been relegated or something!!

Lets talk Napoli

Lets look at someone who can score from the penalty spot
18 penalties last 2 seasons with only 50% scoring ratio

Napoli will never spend big on a striker to replace Cavani's 25-30 goals per season.
Who is going to score that many goals per season and be on the same wage bracket as Cavani is on at the moment?
Napoli dont pay big wages.
Ibra, Dzeko, Gomez, Falcao all will come at a price.
If we had signed Balotelli January im sure we would be a lot closer to Juve than we are now.
Milan spent wisely breaking the payment down over 5 years and the results have come. With Balo taking a pay cut and a marketing dream it makes excellent business. Jealous...you bet i am.

We lose Cavani say hello to midtable for the next 5 years or maybe longer
Juve and Milan will dominat next 5 years. Teams like Atalanta, Udinese, Roma, with proven goalscorers. Other teams such as Fiorentina, Inter, Bologna, Cagliari, Parma, Torino & Lazio who have the potential of scoring lots of goals also. Will be lucky to compete for Europa and who the hell wants that!
Look at the chance Calaio had last minute. v Milan, he got infront of his marker but couldnt put the header on target.
He should have scored. All of a sudden 7 points clear with Milan v Juve this weekend. Another example of buying January with the view of warming the bench until seasons end.

Players out on loan. Dont get me started. No lets...... Uvini, Fernández, Fideleff, Dossena, Cigarini, Gargano, Maiello, Santana, Vitale, Dumitru, Hoffer , Vargas. We have a lot of them. Missing a keeper but Even these bunch of players with a decent coach could stay up in Serie A. Time to sell and spend that money on 2-3 QUALITY first team players.

Mazzarri hard head. Looking for a defender. we have him!..Fernández who is playing in Spain and has 7 clubs looking for his services for next term.
Young, plays for his country, strong, excellent in the air. Cmon!

Hamsik. Can we pay for a bodyguard for this future captain of Napoli. Without his assists this season and season gone by we would not have been in the position that we are at the moment. The assist he gave to Pandev for the equaliser v Mailan made me come in my shorts. Week in week out he performs.

Next time we are in a position to challenge for the title January window lets buy smart and buy to challenge for the title not to but to cover injuries, tirdeness, jetlag for 1st team players.

Its not all doom and gloom but as long as Juve keep winning it seems that way!!!!

Mastiff - great wrap.

The biggest thing I agree with is Fernandez, but he is all but gone (Tottenham want him now) - same as Victor Ruiz. What an opportunity to mould two class centre backs, instead he wanted fkn Britos!!! Britos manaja mia, what a waste of space!!!

Mazzarri does have a hard head, you would think he was Calo, not from Tuscany.

Napoli confirming that they are the most exciting team to watch in this seasons edition of Serie A

Cagliari played a great game and thought after the equaliser, that the game would have the similar ending in the Bologna 2-3 home loss

Bit lucky with Cavani's offside goal but Insignes winner could prove automatic CL qualification.

Put simply we need to defeat Pescara this weekend and win our 2 remaining home games v Inter and Siena and CL is accomplished
