Re: Another Aussie world champ
I fear boxing is hitting a huge decline if this guy is good enough to have 2 belts in the middleweight division. He's a decent enough fighter but not fit to lace te gloves of some of the other names who have held these belts.
Good luck and congrats to the bloke, but the next generation is watching too much wrestling/fighting in the joke that is the UFC. The art form that is boxing is clearly on the decline and that saddens me.

Danny Green, although he would have to be one of the "lesser" champs we've had for a while. Still cant get over him losing to Mundine a few years ago.

Rusty is a Rabbitohs "sympathiser" so he has sports psyche issues to start with!

Complete bollocks as normal from Mundine - until the day he dies we'll keep hearing about how he is the best athlete on the planet

Switched over at just the right time to see Elise Perry get her three wickets (and the one that was turned down on review).Bomber wrote:Well done on ANOTHER cricket world cup win for the Australians (women this time).
Time for some righteous indignation

Black Caviar odds on you claiming the drugs were what gave the Aussies a win at anything. You'll be clutching on to those straws for years to come I imagine.God is an Englishman wrote:I wonder what drugs they were one.

Happy to accept Black Caviar now that Frankel has retired. After all, she's half English anyway.
Not clutching at straws just following the lead from the australian crime commission.

Could beat you at Poker and you'd still claim it was drugs.God is an Englishman wrote:Bomber wrote:Black Caviar odds on you claiming the drugs were what gave the Aussies a win at anything. I think they only said that the drugs were prevelant in sport. Anyway, I didn't say it. Your crime commission did!!Bomber wrote:Could beat you at Poker and you'd still claim it was drugs.

Re: Another Aussie world champ
The rest of the world do it too, the ones closer to home are highlighted for obvious reasons - media interest and sensationalism. If you think the problem is confined here, then you really need a reality check. Not all nation's governing bodies are going to come out against their own, at least we can say ours does and the spotlight is so bright that anyone dabbling in it now is either very naive or just plain idiotic. Hence any Aussie wins now are probably even more valuable as they are now more likely to be cleaner than the rest!God is an Englishman wrote:They're only confirming what the rest of the world has known for years.Bacon888 wrote:You can be responsible for parroting their comments though.
