CUWFC New Coaching set up - New Players encouraged

Post by prospector88 »

With the official resignation of last seasons coach Cumberland United Women's FC are encouraging new players to join the senior ranks.

Former Premier team assistant Barry McGrath a CUWFC stalwart and great club man has agreed to step up and be the focal point for the senior squads. Barry will be assisted by Paul Sortini Reserves team coach and Steve Maxwell, Director of Football Development.

In this year of rebuilding at the senior level, having a full complement of experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic coaches is most pleasing, especially as we welcome new players to our squad.

CUWFC remains a very strong premier league club with teams in every junior age group and more than one in some age groups. Any player interested in joining our family friendly club or even coming out to see if our club fits your needs, feel free to join us.

Location: Women's Memorial Playing Fields, corner Ayliffes Rd, Sherpherds Hill Rd and Mill tce, St Marys. Enter off Sherpherds Hill Rd, Gate 2 and follow the road around up to the top pitches.
