Bloke at work who plays for SF, tells me they are staying at HQ for another year??
Could make things hard if that's the case.

PS Happy New Year
Has the new "Eagles Nest" been pigeon holed for the time being ?

Must be BS seeing there is a post "Pontian Meet & Greet " at Powalowie, posted Dec 27th.
Good luck to them either way.

The City of Salisbury Mayors Cup starts this weekend.

WEEK 1 SUNDAY 10TH FEBRUARY
Group 1 - @ Pontian Eagles SC Yalumba Drive Paralowie
Pontian Eagles vs Para Hills West (A's 2pm KO & B's 1pm KO)
Pontians who will be looking to showcase their new facility will go up against newly promoted Westies.

Parafield Gardens vs Salisbury Villa (A's 4pm KO & B's 3pm KO)
Neighbouring clubs Parafield & Villa with new coaches & playing squads will want to impress in their first competitive game.

Group 2 - @ Salisbury Inter SC Nangari Drive Salisbury North
Ingle Farm vs Para Hills East (A's 2pm KO & B's 1pm KO)
Easties won last year & although they were relagated any game with these two rivals should be a good one.

Salisbury Inter vs Salisbury Florina (4pm KO & B's 3pm KO)
A bit like a Manchester derby here Inter with Cooky at the helm will want to silence their noisy neighbour.

This year we have JS Sports on board who will be offering a $500 kit voucher to the winner & also there will be a framed Adelaide United shirt signed by the entire squad at each venue to be raffled off, so hope to see you down there supporting what will be a great day of local soccer.

All the best.

I donated them so the host clubs could raise some money to cover ref fees.

There is going to be some great banter between east and farm this weekend.

Dean moving from easts to farm, and easts seeming to have a farmer trainee in goals... I tipping some brilliant comments to be thrown around!

I've never seen an Inter person around the traps on a Friday when the Chicken Wings and G-Strings are flying - how do they know what noises we make?

None of the new faces this week mentioned they had come from Farm.
If we have picked up two players that have been training with you its because they have chosen to come and train with us. Its not like we have been trying to recruit any Farm players.
Plus if we have picked up two it kind of makes up for the two that have gone your way.
Looking forward to the pre-season friendly this weekend and buying Deano a beer after the game.

They are two good blokes. Both are looking for more of an opportunity than they were getting with us so good luck to them.
