Heard an unconfirmed but fairly solid rumour on Saturday that the O35's from Modbury Feds have called it a day. Understandable if so.
There was talk of it last year but we've all heard it for the last 5.
If true, may I be the first to say congratulations on what you achieved as a team and a team of tight mates.
It's been a pleasure playing with, against and for you over the years.
For those hanging up the boots, congratulations on a long, memorable playing career and well done for still playing at ages most of us dream of. To those with more left in the tank, there's always the good guys up the road.
See you all for an ale at Ladywood.
*Disclaimer: I take it all back if it's not true.

Sorry to hear it if true. Would miss not playing the Old Boys and the good times that went along with it.

Rumours will always happen, you can't help listening to them. Believing them is another thing altogether. Although the news did come from one of your stalwarts.
