I'm confused. Are Cobras a new team/club? If so why are they starting in Div 3?

Great turnout last night for Buda’s first session.. lot of new younger and quality players .. a lot more so than other years .. with a few 1st team players who are playing not able to make it last night is looking good for an exciting season.

“Broken” of Southern Breakers you may be astonished to hear that after your call that the club would fold ..you knob jockey... the club is going from strength to strength ...... by the way our ex striker who you claimed had bagged the club and said it would fold wants to return ..funny about that huh !!

My understanding was Gleeson was to remain in Div 2 so it may be another side up.

I also heard a rumour that they were considering pulling out of Div 3. But they're not folding, so where could they be going?

Just taking the piss General .... am not naive enough to make to make outlandish calls re a season that is still a long way away ... is looking alright at Buda but is only one training session in and lot can change and very quickly – we had two A-Grade players out for the season by the end of round one last season .... thought things were looking alright last year and for the first half of the season were looking good and then the wheels fell off after that .. so until two or three games till end of season wont really know ..

The key is not to mention anything about new star players from the feds and state ;leagues who are sensational additions gto your first team!!!

keep the lid firmly on

Things are looking promising down at Buda.....But we have to remember this is Amateurs..and you can have the best team or best club
but the fact is players and people involved will have other commitments besides soccer...so it really comes down to who;s out on the park on that game day...The more consistency you have the better chance of season success.

Speaking to one of the SAASL chicks recently the list I was given for Div 3 didnt include Cobras .. however speaking to one of their guys this week he advised that they are playing Div 3 Saturday.

The club list as I recall off the top of my head is as follows (club name spelling not necessarily correct and not in any order as typing as comes to mind):

Budapest
Ankhor Hornbill
Hazara
Flinders
Hanhdorf
Murray Bridge
Gleeson
MacClaren Vale
USC Lion
Adelaide Uni

... that appears to be ten so guess that was it ..(St Peters quit ..five new teams in)

I think they're would be a lot of changes in that list. Div 2 still has holes to fill so a number of teams could still go up and a few teams on that list could be struggling to get 2 teams on the pitch.
