Balotelli packs his Bags

Mario’s packed ‘n ready

MARIO BALOTELLI is all packed up and ready to join AC Milan in a £24million deal.

The Manchester City striker, 22, has given notice on his rented house in Cheshire and has also begun flying his possessions back to Milan.

His representative Mino Raiola was in Italy this week for talks over a move back to the San Siro.

City boss Roberto Mancini is now happy to see the back of a player who has caused him nothing but trouble since his £22m switch from Inter in 2010.

Despite AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi recently calling him a ‘rotten apple’, the Italian giants still want him to spearhead their strikeforce. Balotelli is also desperate for the move having grown disillusioned at City and homesick for Italy.

He is a lifelong AC Milan fan, despite winning the Serie A title with Inter under Mancini, and it would be a dream move for him.

City will hold out for £24m but it now looks certain that his turbulent City career is almost over.

Balotelli has scored just once in the league this season and was recently involved in a furious training ground bust-up with boss Mancini.

Now first-choice striker Sergio Aguero is fit again, Balotelli will be back to fourth choice behind him, fellow Argie Carlos Tevez and Edin Dzeko.

He's AC Milan's problem now. Wasted a great opportunity at City to really make a name for himself. Well he did....just not on the field

If I was one of those billionaires who owns man city then I would refuse to play him, I'd make him train on his own and not even let him talk to the tea lady.

Then hopefully one day he's late and I can fine him 2 weeks wages. Then I don't even have to pay the cunt.

For Balotelli, it is better for him.Because it seems that he is not fit and suitable for man city.Man city have the genuine strikers like Tevez, Aguero, Dzeko.Ballotelli not get his proper opportunity to prove himself as a clinical striker.Balotelli is really a great talented and meritorious striker. He have more opportunity to improve his skill. So i think it is great for him to move on Ac Milan. In this team he will get proper way to get the position in 1st squad.

I’ll miss you, Mario
QPR 0 Man City 0

MARIO BALOTELLI will leave Manchester City — despite them drawing a blank at Loftus Road.

The striker will sign for AC Milan today in a £19.5million deal, bringing to an end his chaotic 2½-year stay at the Etihad.

But City could have done with his scoring skills last night as they failed to beat rock-bottom QPR.

SunSport told you on December 18 how the Serie A giants were 18 how the Serie A giants were planning a cut-price deal to take the 22-year-old forward back home this month.

Milan will pay £17m up front with a potential £2.5m in add-ons.

Mancini admitted he did not want the player to leave but had no choice but to let him return home to Italy.

He said: “We are so sad because Mario was an important player for us. With Mario we won the Premier League and the FA Cup in two years.

“It was difficult because he could be important in the next 14 games. But it’s important for Mario to go back to Italy.

MANCHESTER CITY boss bids farewell to Italian hot-head striker following move to AC Milan

“I think he can improve and I’m happy he will become one of the best players in the world.”

Mancini denied he had grown tired of Balotelli’s unpredictable behaviour.

He added: “For me, Mario was like another one of my children. You can be upset with him but afterwards he’s a lovely lad.

“I invest a lot of time with all players. With Mario, maybe more. It was emotional when we said goodbye. When I say that I love Mario, and all his team-mates love him, it’s true.”

City plan to wait until personal terms are sorted and his medical is passed before confirming the transfer officially.

Balotelli joined City for £24m from Inter Milan in August 2010.

City star Sergio Aguero tweeted: “Good luck Mario, no one will forget you round here.

“All the best in your new journey.”

QPR boss Harry Redknapp reckons his rock-bottom side have a fighting chance of staying up — if they bring in new faces before tomorrow’s transfer deadline.

Redknapp named two keepers on the bench last night and will step up his efforts to bring in Stoke striker Peter Crouch and Anzhi centre-back Chris Samba.
