New coach needed right now

AU needs someone strong, stable, able to galvanize players, embrace a tough love mentality/style before this plainly disaffected playing group collapses (real signs of it last night).

Someone who actually coaches and manages.

A strong, uncompromising, experienced leader to act as a catalyst for change and lift the squad for the balance of the season and plan into the next.

The Board simply needs to find the money for this. Otherwise there will be catastrophe. The cracks are not only showing, they are widening.

Someone like Ernie Merrick maybe? Would he fit the bill? I don't know but seems he wants into the HAL again - if so he might be surprisingly affordable.

Something needs to happen to arrest the slide. Just my 10c. Others' thoughts?
