"With Chelsea a couple of years back, he gave onside to Didier Drogba and he was three yards offside. You remember these things because it is [in] important games and that was an important game today.
Which game? You mean this one where this goal stood?
"It was a clear decision. And he was 10 yards away, maybe 12 yards away from the incident and he doesn't give it. And yet he gave everything else."
10 yards? 12? Impossible. The linesman stands about a yard from the sideline. And it’s about 16 to the edge of the box, so it’s probably double what he’s inferred. A big variance. So he’s being dishonest and lying here too.
As if you needed any more proof that the FA is bent. Every other manager gets charged, but Demento gets an opportunity to apologise to avoid punishment:
"I apologise to the Assistant Referee for any personal embarrassment that my remarks may have caused and to the FA for going public with my views,"
"My only intention in speaking publicly was to highlight what I believe to be a serious and important issue in the game, namely that the standards of assistant referees, who operate on that side of the pitch at White Hart Lane, must match the ever-increasing demands of the modern game, which I hope will now be properly addressed through the appropriate formal channels."

Even his 'apology' was a bit of a slagging
"The game is about glory, doing things in style and with a flourish, going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom."

He has stated before that he's willing to do anything for his team to get any advantage they can. If that means punishment or a fine for him than he is fine with it.[/quote]
So when Ferguson does this, he's 'the master', but when Suarez does it, he's a cheat.

Like I said, I have no problem with him voicing his opinion. It's better than sitting back n not doing anything about it. Shows Fergie has balls! N if it helps us later on, even better

If you were good enough, you wouldnt need the "extra help".

How is that extra help? I thought it was a formality ;)

Now what other club is doing what Fergie has done in the last 20 years!!!!!!
Get him to manage Norwich or Reading and see how he goes on their budgets.
Well I missed the funny part but what's funnier is that you may actually think either club would win the league or trophies just by having Fergie at the helm.
