Still got my club trophy from 96 in the shed, presented to me by Gary Mackintosh.
Was loving it coz he was the idol of one of my mates, who was my main rival for the award! Fucking loved rubbing that in!

Hmmmm....

Full time professional AFL players claim to be the fittest and strongest athletes on the planet - yet they cannot beat the Irish Amateur Gaelic Rules (which Australian Amateur Footballers play in the off-season to keep fit) players at the hybrid game?

Still at st marys. We also have an over 35s team which plays on Wednesday nights for those who wish to re live past glories :)

Clovercrest definitely had quite the reputation...maybe not always for the best reasons ;)

 Good to see the legend lives on!
The name Clovercrest is banned forever in SA Gaelic, as you would probably know, and a few left to form the very successful Na Fianna club with the core of the Wolfhounds. A few of us staunch Gaels (that were still allowed to play!) hung around as Easten Gaels and matched it with them for a while, but the move to night times down South just got a bit too long in the tooth for most of us. Very fond memories nevertheless and it's always good bumping into old faces and talking about the old battles. (Some quite severe at TK)
I'd love to have a run again, but living and working in the Barossa, with a young family makes it virtually impossible. Maybe a cameo one day..... :D
