Over 35's teams for 2013
Now the most important topic in amateur league football!
Probably about 2 months too early to ask but are there any teams leaving or coming into the prestigious over 35's competition this year ??

Oh fuck yeah, we're in.
& I recruited us a proper keeper about 1/2 hr ago, (thank heavens!) but have been informed I still have to take all the goal kicks.
Looking forward to it.
When does the season kick off?
If any other o35's teams want a trial match/ kickabout before the season starts just pm me. Ladywood will be available, dates can be sorted out in time.
And to Easties, can we try and get the curtain raiser for the Rebecca Cup happening this year as was mooted last year?
Cheers ears. Rhino.

Re: Over 35's teams for 2013
1130 is the usual, but there are some clubs that occasionally alter this due to pitch and change room clashes with their other teams. Jets really old boys kick off at 1 always, Inter had a couple at 930 last year, farm a few at 1100 and Gully and downs a few at 1200.maxin in the shade wrote:is this for the Sunday over-35s league?
what time is kick off usually?

Would be good to see another team come into the League this season so there wouldn't be a bye...

these 2 byes during the season are a great time for the body to recover and just let the liver do all the work by itselfsirstevieg wrote:Would be good to see another team come into the League this season so there wouldn't be a bye...

Not Jared Pangrazio (god knows the spelling)!?
Great lad and was a very handy player on the field too! Got a gig off the bench at easties once I reckon.

No, that's what half of our club have thought after reading this. & yes a very handy player, but not ours. Hawkesy calls Mick W Wolfie after the growth he had when he came to play Rezzies with us.East Boy wrote:Blueblood wrote:1. YesGod is an Englishman wrote:

Any news from your old boys about the Cup?
Re: Over 35's teams for 2013
There wont be a 35's team at Gardens we lost a few of our older players to another clubsirstevieg wrote:So does anyone know if any O35 teams are dropping out of the League this year....would be good to have an even number although the bye is good...

Were trying to make sure enough of our O35's (should really be O45's for most of our team!) are available for Rebecca's cup this year so we can really make a day of it.
