So Doc, what did you think of the SFL countdown?
Far too much screamo crap for my liking, would've liked to see Menzingers, NOFX and PW higher, GA did well for #7, and the top 3 hardly a surprise.

Mick Taylor playing at the Gov in April next year! I might just have to head on down.ozzie owl wrote:The Rolling Stones from the Mick Taylor era.

The blurb says he hasn't played in Australia since 1973, but I saw him at the Frankston Pier Hotel in early 1982 playing with John Mayall's Bluesbreakers (which also included John McVie at the time).
Also saw him playing with the Stones at Wembley in 1973.
Time for some righteous indignation

The Beach Boys – Pet Sounds
Ive been a big BB’s fan for years, and even though this is probably their most well-known, and critically acclaimed album I never took the time to actually listen to it. Weird right?
Sure I knew most of the songs but I didn’t know each one really well and how they all fit together. Well the last week this album is all ive been listening to and I now see why its always rated in the top 5 albums of all time.
Brilliant! The production, the melodies, the voices. It all comes together to form a perfect album.
Brian Wilson at his absolute best.
