The best game I have EVER seen was a ManUre v Liverpool mid-week match at Old Trafford in the early 1970's.

It was pouring with rain and freezing cold but no one felt a thing as the game was fast, skilful, end-to-end football.

Both teams were going flat out for the entire 90 minutes, no quarter asked or given. Some of the best & fiercest tackling I've ever seen.

It ended in a 0 - 0 draw but was one of those games where goals didn't matter. The quality of football was superb and both teams had their chances and both keepers made brilliant saves with both teams hitting the woodwork on a number of occasions..

In fact a goal would have spoilt the game it was so tense.

yes the passing was good but the first half passing by liverpool
was equally as good man utd defence was all over the place there for awhile..thats where liverpool lost it, didn't have those multi million dollar forwards to make them pay, those clinical finishers of the game (now we have buying power). and injury time and you foul them out there to give them a dangerous set piece like that-the writing was on the wall.i knew it was gonna be one of those injury time winners. it was the vital mistake liverpool lost it for themselves.
i agree about sissoko he wins the ball and puts the other team in with a chance with a counter attack because of crap pass..don't rate him highly fifa 2007 is way to nice with his favourable ranking of 82-84.. :D
