Re: Transfers
Rumours of Villa making his way to the Premier League. Chelsea, Liverpool, & Swansea (you read that right, Swansea) the interested parties.

I don't mean from a financial standpoint, more the David looking at Swansea and thinking 'fuck that' standpoint.DOC wrote:swansea are ok financially and if they feel they can make europe they may spendBowTiesAreCool wrote:Surely not enough to get the deal over the line though.DOC wrote: laudrups connections with barca could surely help this

Connections? He did the dirty on them in 94 and joined Real Madrid, he was the Figo of the 90s.DOC wrote:laudrups connections with barca could surely help thisBowTiesAreCool wrote:Rumours of Villa making his way to the Premier League. Re: Transfers
He wasn't close. or a source, but the mainstream media reported it too.
Sometimes things change, this one obviously did.
The only person I am close to at Anfield these days, who would know about transfers, who I contact (via email and the odd text) is Ian Ayre...sadly he doesn't give away too much! I could ask an ex player or a current players dad, but they don't know much either!!!
I can say that the retail team have been told too see what Alonso merchandise they still have though. I cant see him coming back in Jan but in teh summer is a possibility...or LFC will shift it to Chelsea at a knock down price
