Hahndorf Soccer Club: Coaching position

Post by thepetulantmagpie »

The Hahndorf Soccer Club is seeking to appoint a senior coach for the 2013 season.

Hahndorf will be fielding senior First and Reserve teams in the SAASL Saturday Third Division and is looking to return to the Second Division with renewed vigour. If you want to be part of strong Adelaide Hills club and can help Hahndorf realise their potential, please apply.

Expressions of interest should be emailed to hahndorfcontact@gmail.com

The Club would like to thank previous coach, Steve Handley, for his fine contributions over the past four years. Unfortunately, Steve has decided not to continue with Hahndorf next season and we wish him all the best in his future coaching endeavours.

One may suggest to concentrate on 2013 div 3 before thinking about 2014 div 2.

One may also suggest that the club has ambition.
Also it does not say we will return to Div 2 in 2014, it may take one season or it may take three.
The point is, we have an intent to return to Div 2 and will not be content to be mired in mid-table mediocrity.

What's happening at Pine Ave?? I hear rumours that Steve has joined another Hills club along with one of Hahndorfs longest servimg player s.Not sure where (assume Stirling) but it looks like tough times for the Pies which is a shame.

Yes, Steve has been named coach of Mt Barker, according to my information. Matt has joined Stirling and several others have departed after being upset with the proceedings of the last AGM.

Didn't know Mount Barker had a football club any more! That's a shame for Hahndorf and hope you guys bounce back. Must have been an inyetestim AGM for that sort of reaction. Can't believe Matt Norris has left.

Matt will be sorely missed, can play and win his position at either end of the park and always gives 100%.

I wish him well at Stirling.
