Excuse me, what planet are you on?

Are you really a ManUre supporter or are you simply one of those 'Prawn Sandwich' supporters? :?

Did u watch Giggs play against Norwich?

You got a penalty though right?

You always come back when you get a pen.

I don't believe in that swings and rounabouts bullshit. You don't get a penalty but you get one later on etc..

What if the penalty comes when you're already winning and doesn't come when it's 0-0?

What if one decision robs you off 3 points and causes you to be relegated?

Not a bad first half for the neutrals though :D

Can't argue about the penalty, how frickin dumb was that defender?

If you want a soft penalty, Man City got one.

Ah your one of them guys that has the livesport app and sees Rooney (pen), and automatically thinks typical United, it was a gimme. Look at the replay n ask what the defending was thinking

Hilarious! RVP was a relative unknown till Man Utd picked him up!
I do slightly agree is the last 5 years or so Fergie has had less money to work with in the market and has done a lot more signing of future stars (like Cristiano Ronaldo and Rooney who IMO were unfinished products when Man Utd signed them) but he is still lucky enough to have fairly deep pockets to dive into if things do get dire. RVP being case and point.

Rooney and Ronaldo were already very well regarded when Utd bought them, not the unknown future starlets the forumite is suggesting.

This thread gets better and better, Rooney at 17 was as big a threat as a goal scorer as he is today that's a fact from watching him live, not from Wikipedia or whatever tv channel you watch your EPL on. And that's why Ferguson paid $26 million sterling for him.
Wenger reckoned in 2002 he was the best English striker he had ever seen, he was still at Everton.

Veron? Forlan?

Are you really trying to argue that Arsenal had a few flops and are therefore nurture talent less than united?

Just like to point out that Fergie complained about the referee after the draw with Swansea.

I'm guessing he wanted at least a penalty this week and didn't get it? Or did he want Williams to get a straight red even though RVP retaliated?

No they wernt
Just players with the "potential" to be superstars with the right training and guidance
You rkn Ronaldo was a superstar at Sporting? Sure he was flashy, but he needed the right guidance under Fergie and training to become the player he is today
