What a shot then? I never knew Gary Pratt was a man city fan.

If indeed he was infront of the Man U fans and the Man City block was presumably behind them what a fantastic shot to get that trajectory from that distance. Guy has an arm like Bo Jackson.

man city fans would have been to the side, presumably not behind or above. There would have been a whole section of segregation as well. Either way, it's a fantastic shot that was managed by many as there's a few coins on the ground in the shot.

So either, man city should be looked at by the NY Yankees or he wasn't in front of the man u fans as suggested.

Alright lets have this out!!!!! I don't give a toss how good a throw it was; I don't give a toss how Ferdinand stirred them up. I don't give a toss that you support a club that has a so called reputation. What a few Man City supporters did on derby day; was absolutely discusting!!!!! I't doesn't matter how much you hate him; one more inch and he could of been blinded. Play'd for ENGLAND and and you couldn't give a f''k about him.

Maybe for the next ten weeks, City could play Milwall and instead of watching Afganistan
on T.V. I could watch your so called passionate supporters instead.

I've agreed with a lot of what you've said on here but right now your off my christmas card list. :x :x :x :x

Obviously you are not street smart, just hide behind your club and ride there reputation as being thugs

Have you actually been to a big game like this? Where am I riding my clubs reputation, I don't even mention them. BUT if you wind people up you can't really complain when they get wound up.

I guess man u only had a few fans in the ground and there was no segregation either. If you'd been to a game like this you would know it would have had to have been a big and great shot to have hit him if he was in front of man u fans.

I have been to a game like this before and know what its like

Rio was celebrating with the United fans, just like all the other United players were

le king...why bother???
the man is clearly trying to stir u up and get his kicks with attempting to do it and seeing ur reaction

I have never defended the person's action, I have merely stated that passionate fans can make errors of judgement in the height of that excitement.

Have you never been wound up and done or said something that you later regret?

I have merely stated that if you try to wind people up, you cna't complaing when you wind them up.

If you watch the video you will see where the United fans are. Between the corner flag and the goal post.

At about 1.08 to 1.20 you can see where him bending over to pick up the coin after gets hit. All in front of the United supporters.
The City supporters are about 20 meters either side.

So, ferdinand got a position where he was in front of man u fans but both sides of him he had man city fans to his left and to his right.

Another one who's never been to a game in England, let alone a big one.

Yes, he did stand in front of the utd supporters. Yes, he did have city fans to the left and right of him.The utd fans only covered half of the end stand. I don't know if your winding us up but your full of it.

Oh! By the way, I have been to big games to. Your not the only one. Must of been strange going to a game and being the only guy there, since no one else has been to a "BIG GAME" but you.

So these, city fans to his left. How far away from him where they? These city fans to his right, how far away were they from him?

The extent of seating for the United supporters was about 40 meters wide, 2,100 supporters in 2 tiers. The city fans were about 20 meters (24 yards) either side of the players. If you read the intitial post and looked at the video you would have seen with your own eyes where the players were celebrating an injury time goal against their second biggest rivals away from home.
And I have been to games in England, Man Utd v Arsenal and Man Utd v Barcelona might not be as big as a Millwall game but to me they were fairly big.

the new man city ground must be tiny if it only holds 2,100 over 40m wide and 2 tiers. How handy that you claim they were right in the centre - did they get a tape measure out? What a shot by those city fans then, to all get that close and one of them to hit him. I didn't realise gary pratt was even a city fan.

Why bring Millwall into it (I haven't mentioned them at all)?

White City v Raiders doesn't come close, although being from a poor sporting nation like this I can see why you'd consider that a big game

We've both been to old trafford more times than this lot. Never been to anfield though, one of the minority that I haven't.

We've probably seen more games in a week than this lot ever.

I just love how by watching one game, watching foxtel and reading a forum they think the understand the English clubs and game.

U asked if I have been to a big game in England. I told you Man United v liverpool. I'm pretty sure it doesn't get any bigger then that in England.
