I played in a cup game there once legga where it got abandoned and awarded to the team I was playing in because the NAB centre forward slapped the ref in extra time.

Yes they were a strong side with big Les Matiscac (or empty sac) , Stephen McGregor, Mike Genikas and I think Joe McGregor coaching with Andy Hutchins coaching the Reserves.
They used to survive by running concerts with the Zep Boys and backing fom Nick Bianco and his family. Someone once said that the NAB stood for Nick & Aida Bianco...not sure if that was true..thought it stood for Norwood All Boys ?
