So after all this time you're finally admitting that it wasn't Roy who was bad but it was because he inherited a crap side from the mad spaniard?NickyTanner wrote:Not trolling, but what is happening at Chelsea?
When LFC played that badly with Roy it was because we had rubbish players, Chelsea have class all over the park. I can't believe it's all down who the manager is.

And, just so we can compare apples with apples, how much money did Woy spend and how much did the King spend?NickyTanner wrote:no,he bought crap and played them.
KK came in and binned them and we did better.
Simple to work out Roy was the problem.

Re: Rafa.
Net or gross.
We were flirting with relegation with Roy, playing shit football and going backwards.
Kenny united the whole club, and won us a trophy and got us to another final.

Re: Rafa.
Yet, with virtually zero money, he managed to acheive roughly the same results as KK and BR? Had they given Woy $50m to spend, you'd have been in at least 8th or 9thBowTiesAreCool wrote:Roy was bottle of shiraz awful. That's why he's the England manager :p
I have to say, it's definitely a low point for Chelsea fans. RDM's sacking is up there with Mourinho and Carlo for me.
Successful managers being replaced for essentially no reason.

Re: Rafa.
I seriously doubt Roy could have brought in any good players. He wanted to sign Carlton cole and he did sign poulsen, j.cole and konchesky. He problem would have spent that money on buying duds.

Re: Rafa.
Face it, Kenny spent something like £115m and Woy spent £24m. Granted, Poulsen and Konchesky are not my idea of good players but they were cheap. KK spent big and got some big turkeys along with a couple of bargains. Suarez was a steal, Enrique was about right, Coates was expensive but could be anything and Adam was overprice. The rest were wildly overpriced or rubbish. Or both.BowTiesAreCool wrote:& Coates.NickyTanner wrote:How is De Gea playing at present?

De Gea is contributing to Man United being top of the league by 3 points and top in the group stage of the champions league. That answer it for u ;)Nice One Cyril wrote:De Gea always reminds me of The Cat In The Hat for some reason.NickyTanner wrote:and we sold one player for 50m We wouldn't have spent 35 on one if we hadn't recieved 50.....

Btw it's funny your giving stick to de Gea considering pepe reina has had a far worse season
Re: Rafa.
And yet he's still got half the clean sheets Reina has and Reina's was out injured for 4 games!Le King wrote:De Gea is contributing to Man United being top of the league by 3 points and top in the group stage of the champions league. Re: Rafa.
Look at the mistakes reina has made this season. I'm not talking clean sheets because we've had guys like carrick, fletcher and Valencia in our defence this season. N we all know defenders play a massive part in regards to clean sheets

Such as?
This will be interesting.
He should have beaten away the first goal at Norwich rather than back into the danger zone, but we were up 3-0 at that stage. Could have and should have done better for Carzola's goal at the near post.
By my count that's two perhaps mistakes all season.
The way people carry it's like he's done an Al-Halsi every second week....
