Little 8 year old Johnny is a Chelsea fan. He's just heard the news about Rafa's appointment...
Johnny: Dad, who is this Rafael Benitez that's just taken over our team? Everyone keeps saying how bad he is.
Dad: That's right son, he's awful. This is the worst thing that could have happened to us.
Johnny: But why Dad? Has he never won anything?
Dad: Well, he did win the league in Spain.
Johnny: Oh so he managed Real Madrid or Barcelona then?
Dad: Well no, it was Valencia actually.
Johnny: He won the league with Valencia? Wow. So it must have been a fluke then?
Dad: Yeah exactly. Although, he did win it again 2 years later.
Johnny: So he won two league titles in Spain with Valencia? Not bad... but that's all he won with them right?
Dad: Well no, he also won the UEFA Cup.
Johnny: But you've always told me how hard it was to win the UEFA Cup - how many good teams there are in it.
Dad: Yes, well he got a bit lucky.
Johnny: So he must have just had a good team that he inherited at Valencia then. I bet he wouldn't win anything with any other team.
Dad: Well actually, after leaving Valencia he came to England - and took over at Liverpool.
Johnny: Oh well you can't really blame him for winning nothing with Liverpool - they're just a rubbish mid-table team.
Dad: Hmmm, well... he did win something with them. In his very first season.
Johnny: Oh the Carling Cup I suppose?
Dad: No, he won the Champions League.
Johnny: The Champions League? You're winding me up! How can anyone win the Champions League with Liverpool? Surely not even that Jose you always talk about could have done something like that!
Dad: Well yeah, but he got lucky.
Johnny: So then after that he didnt win anything else - and that's why everyone thinks he's rubbish?
Dad: Well he did win the FA Cup the year after.
Johnny: I love the FA Cup - I remember when we won it last year, it was great! So then after that he made them the mid-table rubbish they are now?
Dad: Well he did reach another Champions League final. And then another Semi the year after too.
Johnny: It sounds like he was only interested in the Champions League - is that why he was rubbish, because he never got anywhere in the league?
Dad: Well the year after, they came 2nd in the league - with 86 points.
Johnny: Liverpool got 86 points?? No way Dad, you have to be joking!
Dad: Yeah, but they were lucky.
Johnny: Are you sure this is correct? He won 2 Spanish titles, the UEFA Cup, the Champions League, the FA Cup, another Champions Leage final and 86 points in the league?
Dad: Yes, but then the following year they only came 7th so he got sacked.
Johnny: I see - so that was the end of him then.
Dad: Well then he went to Inter.
Johnny: And he must have been a flop there then?
Dad: Yes, he didn't win anything and got sacked.
Johnny: How long was he there for?
Dad: Until Christmas.
Johnny: But Dad, you can't really win anything before Christmas - well apart from the World Club Championship I suppose.
Dad: Hmm yeah... he did win that actually.
Johnny: Wow. But what about his transfers - Chelsea fans are saying he only signs crap players?
Dad: Yes exactly! Although to be fair, he did sign Torres, Alonso, Mascherano, Agger, Skrtel, Lucas, Reina.... and turn them into world class players. But.... but son... he bought utter rubbish like Degen and Voronin!
Johnny: Were they really expensive flops Dad?
Dad: Well actually, they were both signed on free transfers.
Johnny: Right... but hang on, you just said he made Torres world class. But he's rubbish, he hardly ever scores.
Dad: Well, when he was at Liverpool, under Rafa, he actually scored a few goals.
Johnny: How many Dad?
Dad: 65 goals in 102 matches.
Johnny: But that's impossible. Are you sure? Fernando Torres? The Ladyboy - scored all those goals under Rafa?
Dad: Well yeah... but he's still an awful manager.
Johnny: Dad - you don't know anything about football.
Dad: I'm telling you, he's the worst thing that's happened to Chelsea.

2 managers that annoy the hell out of each other, Wenger's a bit docile these days and Mancini despite face masks has the personality of a wet sponge.

Not trolling, but what is happening at Chelsea?
When LFC played that badly with Roy it was because we had rubbish players, Chelsea have class all over the park. I can't believe it's all down who the manager is.
