So those three players back who are all starters don’t add to the quality of the side moving Henderson, Downing and Enrique to the bench??
Thought not…..
Even with those 3 back...your squad has no depth and God forbid Suarez gets injured.
And been were you are on the ladder will not help your chances come January for new signings.

This is our depth being tested all season so far. Depth argument has weight when your strongest XI plays and there are no results.
We haven’t had our strongest XI on the park all season.
If our depth can draw with Everton and Newcastle and make a good contest out of Tottenham away which are all supposedly better squads than Liverpool. Then what will happen when Liverpool fields an injury free team?

Does any team ever manage that?

WBA’s only injury to a starting XI player has been Foster. Hence their strong start.
When their depth is tested, hence their fall – as is Newcastle’s depth is being tested now.

Despite your "current" lack of depth, your position on the table is inexcusable.

Based on what I've seen I'm surprised you want Borini back in, as well as Enrique out.
Henderson is bad though lol. I'd start Shelvey over him every time. Time to sell that trashcan asap and cut your losses methinks.
At least Borini makes runs ahead of the ball, he’d have a few this season just being in the box if fit.
Can’t fault Enrique’s effort but he isn’t very intelligent at left wing, makes the wrong decision 9 times out of 10.
Shelvey’s no better than Hendo. Hendo needs to play a deeper role. Anyway, as I’ve said above, Lucas will be back add balance to the midfield and send Gerrard to further forward to play off Suarez.

Give him time, he's waiting for Downing to lead the way.

Fair enough. Enrique is very comfortable on the ball, I think he could be a hit where hes playing at the moment. At the very least he will stop Downing playing there.
Henderson and Shelvey might be pretty similar skillwise but I'd rather play Shelvey for his attitude. Call him a nutter but he flies around the pitch and really puts in the effort. Henderson to me looks like hes in cruise mode. Liverpool really played very well after 20mins today and I didn't even notice Henderson, not surprised he was subbed at 60 or so.
LOL at the Liverpool supporters with their red-tinted glasses. He's been garbage, as has Downing, as has Cole, as was Carroll, and Shelvey, Borini, Allen have all been OK but average, but you can't admit it. It doesn't mean Rodgers won't get them playing well in the future, but it hasn't happened yet.

I don't hate him, I quite rate him in fact but Millwall are just pretty strong at the moment which is why he wouldn't get in our side. On the bench is the best he can hope for.
Lol at people who complain about the forum's quality then post cabernet like this.
Yeah we get it, you know way more about football than anyone. Please, enlighten me. What was I so incorrect about?
I think you're incorrect saying Henderson and Shelvey are similar skill-wise. They're clearly not.
Henderson has excellent skill and touch but has the mental determination of an fig leaf. Shelvey's touches sometimes puts Carlton Palmer to shame but he's always up for a contest and will give everything.
Henderson's problem is fixable and gets better with age. Shelvey's skill won't improve drastically from here.
Willing to put my nuts on the block and say Henderson will enjoy a better more prosperous career than Shelvey.

Or, maybe Shelvey will improve because he has a great attitude and forge a decent career for himself a la Phil Neville and Henderson will just fade away because he's a soft cock?

Its probably too early in both careers to tell.
But either way I guess im not a "Henderson hater" as much as a "Henderson realist".

Yeah, 'cos Spain's and Spanish teams have really suffered from being a bunch of "soft cocks" compared to the English.

I agree, but those Spanish players don't tend to have the 'mental determination of an fig leaf'
