Scenario's -

• One U17 Junior Premier League (JPL) only, with 14 teams. No U17 Junior State League (JSL)
• Two small U17 leagues - JPL and JSL
• One U17 JPL league, with extra U17 teams added to the U16 leagues.

Para Hills will have a side definitely.
I thought Campbelltown were having a 17s side as well?
Cant see how there would be a JSL League, think only 2 clubs from your list qualify.
If they get 16 teams just have 2 JPL Divisions.

I was told that Campbelltown wont be having an U17 team, due to poor turn out for the age group. The info could be incorrect, but have yet to hear differently from the club.

PS. I beleive that there are 3 clubs that will be entering 2x U17 teams.

Enfield would be in the 17A league having finished top of 16Bs this year and West Adelaide would join Salisbury in the 17 B league having finished bottom two sides in the 16As this season.

Sorry bout that, tried to highlight the ones probably in Div 1 , but really who knows how they will determine the divs, given many 17s teams will not resemble their 2012 u16s teams at all !

As was the case for some clubs this year and in previous years.

this is still the process used by the FFSA to determine whether teams are in 17As or 17Bs - it is based on the final placing of their Under 16s team the previous season. For those clubs who did not have a 16's team, their 17s would be placed in the lowest division.

If there are 20 teams, then presumably there will only be 17As and 17Bs and no requirement for a 17s JSL league next season, which is ordinarily where clubs like Fulham would be playing.

JPL A should be the strongest teams, so as to be the most competitive league for player development.

Lets not damage the league anymore than it already is; by the poor wording and management from our governing bodies. Hopefully clubs will receive better information early in Season 2013 to allow for proper preparation for Season 2014. Until then, clubs should offer all their players equal opportunity.

The Croydon Kings U17JPL will have pre-season training this month with the Senior structure, opportunities will be available for players.
