potentially match of the season so far.
PHE score goals reguarly and Vista r the tightest team defensively this year so all the ingredients for a good game.
Also being at Vista's ground gives them even more of an advantage - game will be won in the midfield as the ground is so small the ball is always in the middle of the park.
As I previously have said my tip is 1-1.

Re: Vista v PHE
Dont think it'll live up to expectation. I've heard through a mate that Vista have a few injuries to key players and will be short this weekend. There's also a couple of players with the flu. They dont have the depth in their squad to deal with this..Mr Football wrote:There is talks that this could be match of the season. Why?
3-0 to PHE...!

Rather go watch Gardens v Vale (should be a good 1) on Sunday

You go watch your div 1 game it does sound like it would also be good but of no concern to me

Re: Vista v PHE
at this stage there is 1 injury, maybe 2.no flu that we're aware of,and players that will step into any positions that need filling without weakening the squad.so vista has no excuses not to perform well against PHE.the club knows PHE are a quality side and that the game will be a hard fought one,all involved are looking forward to this one with bells on.Happy Kopite wrote:Dont think it'll live up to expectation. Well Ms Football why dont you quote game of the season in Div2 as there are 9 Div's in the league - some forum users might miss read youMr Football wrote:Well that what div i was talking about, that why it involves 2 div 2 teamshaywood djablowme wrote:Game of the season??.. yeah maybe in Div 2

Vista are only competitive at home due to there crap uneven tiny pitch. I've seen 5-side pitches better. Can't see them being very competitive away from home.
I think the East should win by 2 goals, but the way the season has gone, it could just as well be the other way round.
From what I've seen, to stop PH East, hit Atkin (if that's how you spell it) and the striker up front (not the bald guy) early.

Names mentioned on this forum, I aint seen Dunt mentioned on here, Krollig has been scoring each week, Aitken will score with a header, if he is sober,Mr Football wrote:Mr X c'mon you can't really think you know the scorers, i think they're just the names you know, neither one of those vista boys are strong candidates for goals and as for the PHE boys well they're the only names being mentioned on this forum so an obvious guess
Smith to convert a penalty after last times miss, Simo has been the best player Vista have had for the last few years, who else will score Glen Bartlett?
They are the most likely to score for the east i'll give you that mr x. but there is a lot of other capable players who can score. luke up front is a quality player and also are the saggs brothers in the midfield, although one is out injured i think. You can never predict who will score. I like you've put us in for a win though. sweet mate is correct and it will be tough to score against the best keeper in the amatuer league!! I'm sure we will but its going to be a hard game. Danny smith is not that great of a player either.

Which Saggs brother is out East Boy? The one that has played in the middle of the park for the past few years or the one that normally plays full back?East Boy wrote:They are the most likely to score for the east i'll give you that mr x. but there is a lot of other capable players who can score. luke up front is a quality player and also are the saggs brothers in the midfield, although one is out injured i think. There's not much pressure at training and think that makes a big difference with smithyavenell_road wrote:After last night would not be a surprise.Happy Kopite wrote:You seem to have alot of knowledge of both sides. it would be rather a surprise if glenn bartlett scores in the A's given that he's playing B's.As for simo being the best player vista has had for years i'd have to say that there are others that have been more of an asset to the team such as Tom Coombe,Dunkie and not forgetting Faddie Bumbar(not sure how its spelt but that's what it sounded like).Vista is a club with no cash to throw arround to attract players they are there cos they want to be plus the coach is a vista legend???????? well so he tells us.Mr X wrote:Names mentioned on this forum, I aint seen Dunt mentioned on here, Krollig has been scoring each week, Aitken will score with a header, if he is sober,Mr Football wrote:Mr X c'mon you can't really think you know the scorers, i think they're just the names you know, neither one of those vista boys are strong candidates for goals and as for the PHE boys well they're the only names being mentioned on this forum so an obvious guess

yeah that's right we don't score that often cos it's boring to watch a blow out score line.but this week may be different with tom and bert up front an untried forward line but with there pace and eye for goals this could be the turning point for vista.watched them train lastnight and neither missed the target.3 for tom bert to chip in with 1.sweet mate productions wrote:who said that one of the sagg's was a good player, yeh maybe because they are twins and interchange at half time, very much overrated and arrogant. Vista has many scoring options however sometimes choose not too, brings the crowds and excitement into Div 2 football!!!!!

if they are identical twins, which they are, i don't see how they can play contrastingly. Aren't they meant tobe the same, so your saying that the only way you can pick them apart is by the way they play, doubt it. Should be a cracker jack game looking forward to watching the big vista gk take some revenge against the brothers saggs, history is a beautiful thing!!!!!!
watched the so called"sliced bread"keeper vista have signed at training and whilst my vision was hampered by the tree's leaves i was in i' sure that after 50 shots he let in 4???????? so can't be all that good.........over rated if you ask mesweet mate productions wrote:if they are identical twins, which they are, i don't see how they can play contrastingly. Wot are you on about?? Of course they play different. One has a defensive midfield role and is more defensive minded and the other is more the attacking of the two. What revenge would Mr Carmen have against the brothers?? I didn't think their was any bad blooded history there??

though with m(sheep lover)j,p(watch me dive)c,crazy dave and THE GAFFER making up the midfield which is one strong unit the keeper won't see much action(just as well as he's well past his use by date......get it sliced bread hahaha.BULLDOG wrote:watched the so called"sliced bread"keeper vista have signed at training and whilst my vision was hampered by the tree's leaves i was in i' sure that after 50 shots he let in 4???????? so can't be all that good.........over rated if you ask mesweet mate productions wrote:if they are identical twins, which they are, i don't see how they can play contrastingly. i suppose, you like at Russel Mark the shooter, he missed 2 sketes out of 100 when he won gold, 4 from 50 times 2 is 8 missed, may as well not rock up with that pittiful performance, now no bad blood but competitive edge always been high playing the sagg's, always good to beat them, i know that Mr Carman(with an A on the end) would love to shake after winning this week with a big cheesy satisfied grin, and his older bro would to, just no cheesy but a nice cold pale ale
So pete is out there too i guess. The saggs' are always very competitive and to have two of them giving other midfielders plenty of stick throughout the game can be a little hard for some to cope with. Thats probably why a lot of teams dont really like them. They are really nice blokes and Im sure they will be in the club rooms after the game havin a beer with them lads
heard pete is playing can be a good player but spends most the time milking free kicks.but he did pick up a couple of trophies last year so either he is a good player or he's getting it on with those in charge?????????????that approach seemed to work for mj.East Boy wrote:So pete is out there too i guess. East boy, unless you are one of the twins, you have a real uneasy love affair with them. I've never heard so much praise for a person b4. I know they are ok blokes and play the game the way it should be, just quickly, Dwayne still coaching you guys?, if so i've been coached by Dwayne, fantastic bloke who once coached us from the bar at Enfiled, a question, Vista's bar is 2 pitches away, how you think he going to go this week
