No surprise players spent time on the floor, Lazio were very 'uncompromising' and only a very lenient referee kept all 11 on the pitch. Four bookings and 21 fouls tells part of the story, but he let an awful lot go unpunished once players had already been carded.

Usual suspects at it again at the weekend. Bale and Suarez are not the only ones but they are the worst offenders. I'm with Tony Pulis on this, I think it's needs to be continually highlighted so that referees are not sucked in.

Looks to me like Maloney clips Bale's right foot, causing him to lose balance. Bale is very fast, it is plausible.
