Edu V opens his account.....finally!

3 points, no injuries & the fringe guys get a chance. Best possible outcome.
It was interesting becasue we had the look of a team that was playing together for the first time (which it was), but we still were in control for the most part, even after going down to 10 men. It was a completely 2nd string side and it was good to see vargas on the score sheet. Hamsik's red was probably deserved, after only being on for half an hour.... other than that very promising!

Happy for Turboman, hopefully this shuts a few people up in Italy and convinces Mazzarri that he should be getting more than 5 minutes at a time

I can live with this one if it means 3 points against Udinese.

great result this morning, beating Udinese 2-1

Hamsik's strike after 30 mins was cancelled out by Pinzi. Only for Pandev to put the Partenopei back in front at the 45min

I know DAM has been a big proponent of bringing match fixers to justice.
What does he say now?

Napoli face betting probe

Napoli could be docked points and a number of their players banned as part of the Italian Football Federation’s next stage of their betting probe.

The club have come under the spotlight after former goalkeeper Matteo Gianello was accused of attempting to fix the outcome of a game at Sampdoria in 2010...

...Napoli, as the club involved, have been deferred along with Grava and Cannavaro. The Azzurri could be fined or even docked points.
Shameful.

The player (Gianello) attempted to bring other players into it, much like Conte has been dealt with (he knew about it but dd not report it). The two players refused to participate.

Yes it is disgraceful, but at this stage nothing is in concrete and no one has been charged. Sort of like Lazio captain Stefano Mauri.

Hard for Cannavaro and Grava to clear their name because of the rubbish system in place. They'll believe Gianello over non-fixers any day if he decides to help them out to save his own ass.

true true.

Watched bits and pieces of our game vs Chievo on stream - Super Hamsik again - Gees he's among the goals this season and although it did not look convincing, 3 points in the bag. Thought that ciuccio Moscardelli would come back to haunt me again late on!!!

Insigne looked lively replacing Cavani who looks to be rested for mid week game away to Atalanta.

Vargas looked awful when he came on, lacking confidence - he needs a loan spell somewhere to regain the form that saw him runner up to Neymar as South American footballer of the year. He has the goods, they cannot have disappeared that easily.

So Cannavaro and Grava (also, Napoli) in trouble as part of the match-fixing investigations. The evidence against the two players? Gianello's say so. No other evidence, to my knowledge, exists. Once again it is on the word of a fixer and they could get six months for it. Napoli would get a two point deduction.

And another point. This revolves around one match, like a few others. Conte for instance had two matches on his head and they wanted 10 months. One game was crossed off and they wanted...10 months. Then it gets down to four. Others were at three months, some four, six, etc. Where do they pull these numbers from?

The sporting laws have to change.

Pathetic not the word.

The San Paolo has to be a fortress, it is that simple.

Milan (2-0 up)
Torino (Aronica Howler)
Now some unbelievable overhead and usual diabolical defending WTF

This Kone bloke is really starting to fuck me off.

Holders dumped out the Coppa .... at home.

Absolute rubbish and unacceptable. I know the Prez wont get rid of Mazzarri, but the club has to think long term and unless he is prepared to sign an extension, then they are better off going for someone else now. They also have to bite the bullet and let Campagnaro go now - he is going to Inter on a bosman anyway and start having some faith in some of these younger guys they have bought for good money like Fernandez (Centre Back) and Uvini (Brazil's Olympic Captain) instead of recycling the same back 3 or 4 all the time.

Maggio has been fucking useless and we need to go into the transfer market for ready made players to mix with the young stars we have.

Bologna.... at home.... fuck me drunk. Twice. In 4 days. Fuck.

There is no doubt this thing with Cannavaro and Grava has had an effect, but bloody Juve have moved on and they had their coach implicated. That is professionalism.
