Today's Trial Game Results

Post by BocaChiefs »

Campbelltown 1 defeated Para Hills 0. This is a fantastic result for Campbelltown U17B's as they beat an A team in Para Hills. It was a close game with lots of chances and Para Hills had 3 balls cleared off the line. But in the end Campbelltown won and held on to a hard earned but well deserved lead.

It was the first time for the Campbelltown Boys too as a squad. Campbelltown A's lost to Birkalla A's 2 -0. Good luck to all teams in 2007

Campbelltown U17A 1-2 WT Birkalla U17A
Campbelltown U17B 1-0 Para Hills U17A

Good result for the Campbelltown B's especially considering this was their first trial match together, and still missing a couple of players.

Was surprised at the Campbelltown A's result - but still early days.

Jet's U17's drew 1 - 1
U15's Strikers won 4 - 3
U14's Jet's won 2 - 0

All seemed close games although the U15's were short of sub's in the second half

Good day at Campbelltown, looked like things went smoothly without official refs!
Birkalla 17a's looked ok against what looked like a new Campbelltown side, looked like only a couple of players there from last season!
Great effort from the 17b's to beat a traditionally tough Para Hills side, but like someone said before "early days"!
Team to watch out for this year I think for Campbelltown is the 15a's, looked pretty sharp and had a comfortable win!
All the best to all teams and enjoy the season :D

True, we did run out of subs and a couple of players on the park shouldn't have been there with injuries (I find out afterwards) BUT, games between Western Strikers and us are always close and this was the same. They're a good team and enjoyable to play (and watch).
