sundays over 35's cup final was everything it was expected to be! the result could of gone either way and luckily it fell Inter's way in the 80th minute. congrats to the Vale for putting up a great fight, and for a great season.
the game its self was old school, tackles flying in from all angles, the ref let everything go and the game was better for it. only one yellow all game and that was for back chat! lol.
anyway thanks again to all the Lads from the Vale, and well done to Inter on doing the double in their first year, 3 days on im still struggling to walk, and looking forward to a long break. :D

I agree with you theonlygoldSTARclub!, it was a great game to play in. A lot of respect shown by each side to the opposition, but that did not stop the tackles flying in fast and furious. Both sides gave and took the knocks without too much fuss. Ref allowed the play to flow - nobody really objected too much, although such a game would have been harder to ref successfully with a normal non-official home team ref. Pity there weren't a few more games like that throughout the season - although the body probably couldn't hold up to that every week. Congrats to everyone who took part - makes for some even keener rivalry next season.

Congratulations to Inter on doing the double this season, sounds like it was a cracker of a game, the 2 best sides the Gully played this year (albeit only once for Inter) but plenty of quality on both teams. Wouldn't of expected anything less than a hard game from the Vale and Inter.
Thanks to all 35's teams in the league this year have enjoyed every game and the knocks and bullshite that goes with it, a lot of good football played and a lot of nice beer drank afterwards, look forward to doin it all again next year.

There used to be a player of the season medal - is this still going?
