Re: best players of the year
I'll have a go.
I have fortunately seen lots of very good players this season watching the Downs. BA with another stand out year in goal and for all the plaudits that the "big stars" at the Downs will no doubt get it has been the Lindsay boys for me - absolutely outstanding.
I have also been fortunate to play against some great players as well this season and note the Vale and Inter as outstanding quality in the 35s along with Temps at TTG and the quick centre forward for Modbury OBs

Westies presentation night this coming Saturday but my bet for best and fairest would be Greg Jerome or maybe the big man richy Watkins (7 clean sheets in a row I believe)

Carl Tyson from modbury jets , for me was in the best 3 players every week since I got there , leading goal scorer for the club - and league I beleive , not bad for a left midfielder

Antonio Discianni won his 9th (could be wrong. Around the mark anyways) best and fairest for monarchs last night. What a player!
Franco Morelli won the B's best and fairest and C's was won by Michael Kitselaar. Well done to all players.
