U14 JPL League table error?

Post by Stepover »

I note that in the U14 JPL the results for the Skilleroos have not been recorded on the League table
all season, except for 2 rounds which is obviously an error.
No results should be recorded for matches against Skilleroos.
I was having a look at the table to see who were relegated and at 1st glance though it was
Salisbury and ABE.
BUT I note that Comets who finished 4 points above ABE have their win against Skilleroos recorded and added to their tally, which
shouldnt have been done.
Ironically ABE had their loss against Skilleroos recorded as well, which also shouldnt have happened.
Taking 3 points off Comets tally gives them a 1 point advantage over ABE, take 1 game off ABE means that they have played
only 19 rounds, not the required 20.They potentially have one more game to play, win or draw that game and they stay up
ABE Rd 20 game vs Toros has not been recorded yet? has this been played? if not it should be as it could decide the 2nd relegation spot.
I wonder if both these side are aware of these errors?, I would assume they would be?

Congrats to WA on winning the League.

If you presume 2 will be relegated - could be 1 or 3?
Maybe only 1 promoted from U14Bs?
Never know how the 15As will be balanced in 2013.

Does anyone know how U14A to U15A will work?
I am assuming the skillaroo team from 2012 U14 will dispand and players return to their home clubs, while a new squad of u13 aged players will form the 2013 skillaroo squad in the 2013 u14 comp. Is this correct?
Assuming that is correct, it leaves an uneven number for 2013 u15, which can be fixed by 2 relegated 1 promoted, or 3 relegated 2 promoted, or 1 relegated 0 promoted. Or live with an uneven no and have a bye round. Are these guidlines known and published beforehand? Or do we just "wait and see"?

The u/14 skillaros squad playing in u/15s will be not playing for any clubs next year

This years U13 Skilleroos who are playing in the U14 comp, will be hoping they are selected to be part of Elvis's U14 dev. Squad next year, and play in the U15 comp., so no change to what has happened this season. This years U14 squad will be hoping to get selected in NTC (SASI) and play in th U 18 comp. in 2013. This NTC/ SASI setup is the only thing that is changing next season along with all development squad players leaving their clubs for the whole season.

So NTC's playing 18s in 2013 instead of reserves?
2011 U13 skilleroos were playing 15s as a dev team this year - thought they were girls?

U18s, at this stage I believe. You would know better than me.
Most, not all, of 2011 U13s Skilleroos were in Elvis's U14 squad. They didnt actually play in a Comp. only friendlies (got that wrong), I think early on they may have started playing U15 teams mid week, then mostly played U16 teams, then 2nd half of year a number of U17 teams.

Toros 2-0 Abe. Poor and embarrassing sportsmanship on the behalf of Toros u/14 team. No ref showed up by FFSa and the Ref that did the job had no control. To the Team manger from Toros mate grow up and lead by example because monkey see monkey do. No^ respect and very sad sportsmanship . Young men, sorry young boys mouthing off. Encouraging players to take out there opponents and just crap tackles . Thought highly of Toro's as a club and a team. O well. 6666

not sure what the team manager did

I have to agree the ref was questionable for BOTH teams but he didn't decide the game, unlucky. Kids will do what they do in the heat of the moment, did you see the coach applaud them or tell them that it is not required.

He did nothing. Just sad to see Young men displaying NO RESPECT at this age i would hate to see them in a couple of years time. Come on. FFSA hot on the REPECT thing.Maybe they forgot to send posters to the club as they forgot to send a ref today. 6666

ABE boys said absolutely nothing right?

I know the coach told the boys he will not accept any such chat, so tell the whole story not just your sour grapes side.

No sour grapes. Good on toro's for winning and 90% of the boys played well. just the mouthing off of the players leaves a bad taste. if i hear my lad talk shit like that i would got the coach to pull him off.

Salisbury united / ABE

However anything is possible, look at ABE they only got in there to begin with because the Cove pulled out at the start of 2012 and requested to be in the Bs.

Facebook is a wonderful thing;

ahahaha some kid on my teams said to one of your players ' i saw your mom on Hanson road the other day' hahahahahaha

Is this the type of good clean sportsmanship players at ABE that you refer to?

it's not about burning the lad, its about kids do and say stuff and you came out and attack the Toros when your own brand is just as bad, kids are kids they have passion and dont think, adults can.

Both clubs kids said many things to each other that NO ONE needed to say (which I'm sure happens at a lot more games than we think) however don't come on here bad mouthing the club when you were not on the pitch (as I wasn't) hearing and feeling, every tug, arm grab, or CHILDISH comment, that may or may not have taken place from your club also.

The only person at fault here is you and your slander of the Toros club.
