Ray Dixon is not a UEFA B Licence coach and who is the other one? Jason Hayhurst is not a UEFA B Licence coach either.
Ray Dixon at best is a Junior Licence coach if anything he has completed a participation coaching certificate in England similar to the junior licence.
Why would you suggest Ray is a UEFA B Licence coach?

First you ask 'who is the other one' which clearly means you don't know who Jason is and then categorically state that he is not a UEFA B Licence coach.LawOfAttraction wrote:Ray Dixon is not a UEFA B Licence coach and who is the other one? Jason Hayhurst is not a UEFA B Licence coach either.

Speaking from experience as a parent I can highly recommend both coaches because unlike you they know what they're talking about. The programme teaches strategy, skills and technique that you usually don't get at club training. Plus the kids have a good time as well.
Any parent serious about their childs football development should go and have a look for themselves and not be jaded by any miscreants out there.

Sorry, can't let this go unanswered.Baldrick wrote:The programme teaches strategy, skills and technique that you usually don't get at club training. .
Many clubs and their coaches teach those three skills:
- Strategy - major part of the game they play every week.
Skills - without it they have nothing.
Technique - separates the good and dedicated players.
Private academies have a purpose, and are great for the player that wants to learn more; during and out of the season.
Please don't denigrate clubs. I know many young players that have outstanding talent in all three mentioned categories, and have never been to an academy.
Re: Summer Soccer with Football Focus Oct - Dec
You've done well to misconstrue my words to the level of denigrating clubs.
However, you contradict yourself by first saying that many clubs and their coaches teach those three skills before stating that each club may teach varying levels of those skills and some may not teach all of them.
I agree with your second statement and that's the point I was highlighting by saying that they usually don't get that at club training. Even teams that do get the right training
Clubs have the objective to develop those skills and coaches attempt to teach them to the best of their ability but the fact is that a lot of coaches are still learning themselves and don't have a lot of guidance from qualified/experienced coaches. I disagree that kids can learn those skills simply by watching senior football.
I also agree that academies do have their purpose and this is evident by the amount of time and money that premier clubs overseas invest in their junior talent. They know that outstanding talent is not enough and indeed not even a necessarily pre-requisite. There are many other attributes that a player can have and still achieve.
Talent needs to be nurtured and if parents want their kids to have the best football development available then they need to assess what their child is getting at the moment. If they're happy then fine but if they're not or even not sure then they should go and have a look for themselves.
Doesn't cost anything to do that.

ALL I SEE IS POSITIVE HERE FROM TWO CREDENTIALED COACHES
CANT SEE A PROBLEM HERE, OTHER THAN A FEW IDIOTS THAT CAN’T SEE "FOOTBALL FOCUS" OFFERING VALUE ADDING NO DIFFERENT TO ANY SCHOOL CURRICULUM WHERE PEOPLE WANT TO EITHER ADVANCE OR TWEAK ON FOOTBALL EDUCATION.
YOU EITHER GO OR YOU DONT
