Pink kicks off the 2007 Season
PINK KICKS-OFF THE 2007 SEASON
The Women’s 2007 Soccer Season will kick-off with the ERREA Charity Cup proudly supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). This event will provide entertainment for everyone and will highlight some of the best female soccer players and some less renowned for their soccer prowess.
The day will kick-off with a junior age game and will then be followed by a celebrity game. Participants in this game have donated their time to support the NBCF and we encourage everyone to donate their time and money to show the same level of support.
The final game of the day, the Charity Cup will see the 2006 Premier Division Cup Winners, Cumberland United take on Fulham United, Premier Division League Winners for the past three years. This will be a display of women’s soccer at its highest level.
Come and show your support. All monies raised will be donated to the NBCF. Prizes awarded for those best dressed in pink.

Another in the line of programming "oversights"
This game coincides with the crows first home game. Before I hear all of the "So what. We'rewomens' soccer who give a toss about the AFl or Crows, etc".
Plain fact, why tempt fate and cause a clash of fixtures when you can program it earlier/later, etc.
The Internet has everything at our disposal so not being aware of major events to avoid should not be a problem.
Lets plays smart peoples.

it would be good if the event was listed as an 'event' on http://www.nbcf.org.au 's event calendar, given the fact that that is the charity the event is raising money for!

Had the pleasure of meeting Dorinda Hafner last night. She said she supports whole heartedly the Breast Cancer Association and the charity womens soccer day. Unfortunately she cannot be there because of prior engagements. That is why she did the little video. She is a chef as most would know. I was in her presence for 20 minutes and never stopped chuckling at some of her comments or being entranced by some of the serious stuff which has happened in her life. What a wonderful lady. I could not remember exactly what happened for a friend of a number of forumites and others to be affectionately referred to as Nula.
