Which team had the best transfer window?
And who had the best signing?
I think Swansea made the best purchases in this window on the whole, but they lost three key players as well, so it's a bit of a catch 22. Perhaps Sunderland? Fletcher and Johnson could prove to be fantastic signings for them.
And I think the best signing was Kagawa. Great price for a very talented player.

I'll tell you what, Lloris or not, Friedel is phenomenal for a 41 year old. Kept them in it last night.

Good signing but I don't think they have done the best deals.DAM wrote:Tottenham, Dembele is goin to be awesome for them..
I like what Rodgers has done minus the lack of striker depth. He has gotten rid of players who aren't up to scratch and replaced most with players who can fit into his system.
Sunderland/swansea and even southampton have done well.

West Ham. How they got Diame on a free is a mystery because he is an absolute machine and with Carroll up front you get the feeling that Big Sam has everything he needs.
worst off would have to be spurs. Spurs have replaced Modric and Van Der Vart with Dembele and Dempsey. Not exactly a likeness and you can tell them are suffering in the middle of the park.

Good shot stopper but fails to control his area and it often rooted to his line. If you're going to play high line, which apparently we are, you need a mobile keeper who pushes up to the 18 yard line to act as a sweeper.Litmanen wrote:DAM wrote:Tottenham, Dembele is goin to be awesome for them..

The goals by West Brom and Norwich could both be traced back, albeit indirectly, to Friedel failing to come and claim a ball he should have had.

Happy with both Dembele & Dempsey, Luka was off as soon as the final whistle went last year & VDV didnt want to play there any way so bye bye !Nice One Cyril wrote:Good shot stopper but fails to control his area and it often rooted to his line. Friedel is a champ but it will be his last season at 41, quick on the ground, not over the ground.
