Re: RVP
We were shite this morning. Southampton deserved to win that and can feel a bit hard done by that they are still without points after 3 games.
RVP was all class though, penalty aside. I don't think Rooney would have been able to produce that in that sort of game. He would have worked hard but would have ended up getting bogged down in the drivel being produced by his teammates.
I bet Fergie had his hairdryer out after the game.

Here's the man of the moment – Robin van Persie/Perfect/President, or whatever you want to call him. He apologises for his missed penalty, but then he sort of did that already with his match-winning hat-trick, didn't he?

Penalty miss aside, i cant get over how clinical this bloke is
No way would Rooney have scored a goal like RVPs last weekn and his 1st this weekend
Cant wait to see them in the side together though, 2 quality players with rvp the focus upfront maybe rooney playing just behind
Got out of jail last night, but early on in the season nobody is really in there stride so just have to accumilate as many points

Scholes still taking the piss....in his wheelchair
Re: RVP
Apparently Fergie has not been happy with Rooney's attitude and we all know he's not one to take sh%t from players. Rooney needs to see this as a challenge and hopefully doesnt have a cry if benched every now and then.
