Re: SSC Napoli
Edu Vargas for all his efforts is yet to convince & we are still being linked with Giuseppe Rossi.
With no shortage of potential suitors willing to take Vargas on loan it would be a good outcome for all if we could bring in Rossi and loan out Vargas.
Zapata is the other player I would like to see arrive given how God awful Aronica can be & like Rossi would be available for relatively cheap.
If Dossena goes bring in Armero & for what its worth i'd keep Gargano.

Re: SSC Napoli
Rossi re-injured his knee in April and was expected to be out for 10 months. Would be a waste of a signing this season, or at the least in January where he can train for the rest of the season. But I wouldn't expect to see him playing again until next season.

With 10 days until the transfer window shuts Napoli are again looking to South America to bolster their squad.
According to Argentinean sports publication Olè, the Azzurri are interested in Boca Juniors midfielder Juan Sanchez Mino. Representatives of the club have attended La Bombonera to watch the 22-year-old, who doesn’t possess an EU passport yet but may soon be making his way to Europe.
Sanchez Mino played a prominent role in Boca's recent run to the Final of the Copa Libertadores.
Boca President Daniel Angelici hasn't received any offers thus far but would be prepared to negotiate if a proposal comes in.
Napoli currently have seven players from South America in their first team squad including top striker Edinson Cavani from Uruguay, Colombian Juan Zuniga, Chilean Eduardo Vargas and Argentine Hugo Campagnaro

Re: SSC Napoli
Cavani about to sign a new contract 4.3 million until 2016.
Omar El Kaddouri, Brescia starlet has rejected Milan and Genoa and is officially a Napoli player this morning for only 2 million. Big coup, he also turned down Arsenal. Excellent centre midfielder, can play behind the strikers or deeper.
I am disappointed with Gargano leaving, he was a real warrior and a fan favourite, but he ASKED to leave. He even said that in an open letter to the supporters.
If players don't want to stay what can you do. I am disappointed with the fee (1.5 million loan and another 5 million outright) as we had offers of 10 million from Hamburg and in Spain. I think this has something to do with the fact we will be signing right wingback Jonathan in the next few days.
If Vargas stays, we dont need another striker, if he goes it has to be Floccari.
Still would like another CB and alternative for the left

Re: SSC Napoli
Looks as though Cavani deal is done. 5 million Euro per year (not a bad increase from the reported 2.4million he was on) and a release clause of $55 million euro.
If someone is brave enough to cough up at least we have the money to replace him.
I think De Laurentiis has done the right thing and invested his money in Cavani's renewal rather than bought someone else. We can count on Vargas if needed, he looked good when he came on.
Just need a back up for Maggio now and we are set I reckon. Would like to see us go as deep as possible into the Europa league.

Re: SSC Napoli
Problem with a deep Europa run is the consequence of playing Thursday nights and how that affects weekend performances. Napoli have a real shot of making the Champions League, and with the way the two competitions are set up financially, you can understand coaches and clubs trying to sack off the poor cousin. It shouldn't be like that, but this is football in 2012.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't Mazzarri already said the Europa League will be used to give youngsters a go?

CL must be the objective & it would be almost impossible without rotating the squad for Europa.
Insigne, Vargas, El Kaddouri look good for the future.

Another good result - Fiorentina will be a dangerous proposition for a lot of teams this year.
Just quietly, our pitch is an absolute disgrace.

Re: SSC Napoli
They are re-laying it this week and it will be fine when we play our next home game.
Not sure how it got to that, but never mind, both teams had to play on it and its not like we had an advantage that way!!
Hamsik just keeps on keeping on. He will be our next Captain. Apparently Inler was on the bench but played brilliantly when introduced.
Insigne was lively apparently which is good and now he has been called up to the NT for the WC qualifiers.

Watched the game, and although they had the better of the first half our second half was great. Britos is like a new signing, he was brilliant again and 100% better than what we saw from him last season. Not sure why Inler started on the bench but he was the difference in the end coming on in the 52nd... for mine it has to be Inler and Dzemaili as starting CM's, Behrami as cover. And Insigne.... what can I say! It truly is exciting to see the potential this Kid has, and with his call up to the Prandelli's squad, he will grow with confidence. imo he was prob our best along with Britos.

Napoli: 2012-13 beach football champions.
That pitch was truly shocking. Looked like a pitch you would have got in the 1970s after a harsh winter.

Depending on the game there are usually 4 or 5 streams to choose from, its a bit hit and miss sometimes... but generally ok.
