Presentation night

Post by Plympton Doggie »

Just curious as to what other clubs have as far as presetation night awards?

We have the Best and Fairest with runner up, golden boot and players player with a couple of over all club awards.

Some clubs have a trophy with the back end of a horse on it, awarded to the one player in the club who made the biggest blunder / blooper of the season.

Not having Golden Boot....not fair on the remainder of the the team...not as though you have the Golden Full Back!!!! Of course a forward is going to win it...its a team game not individual trophy hunters!

I have to admit that is one trophy/award that has never appealed to me.

Perhaps drop a few divisions, get a bit better, play upfront and you could win it

I'm pretty sure every football competition around has a top goal scorer award

Perhaps we shouldn't have goals or keep score

We're you the guy that sooked about about a team playing a Division 3 star in a Division 4 game

Really get a grip

We have B&F, Players player, most consistent, coaches trophy and best team man I think
“Well done lad, but remember, you’re still only half as good as I was” – Dixie Dean to Bob Latchford after his 30th league goal in ’78
