25 august
A's OTH 7-1 Adelaide Uni
B's postponed
Uni guys are a great bunch of lads, battled all day & were well in it up to half time & were unfortunate to not be winning, but a frw choice words were said at half time we stepped it up in the 2nd half showing the heart & desire thats been missing in the last few weeks, pitch was like a plate of porridge, suprised the ref let it go, was like some of them games you see on the uk from the 70's, lol
Best of luck for the rest of the season boys!

Must of been more than a few choice words to come out firing like you did!

1st half we battled well, but second half went to shit. Them's the breaks I guess. Need to step it up soon otherwise we'll get relegated.

The 7 a side B game was great fun. Was always checking myself not to run in the crossbar in that second half!

NPFC vs Old Ignatians

B's was a great game to watch but old ignatians to good.
Takin this one 1-3
A's Great hard, physical game but the boys at home played well and our back line held tight.
Our 12 man really helped the boys over the line.
NPFC taking this one 2-1

SAASL has us playing at home to Para Gardens this weekend, yet we played them on our turf earlier in the season. Bizarre

Torrens Valley A game got quite spiteful towards the end...2 alledged spitting incidents in the game, I think certain Compass players were getting frustrated as they gave up a 3-1 lead for the second game running aganist the Rams!!!

USC Lion vs Parafield Gardens

A's won 8 - 0
B's won 2 - 0 (I assume this is the scoreline as Parafield Gardens B's have forfeited for the rest of the season)

WOW! Funny story this. It wouldn't be the first time a Torrens Valley player had gotten sent off for spitting at a player this season!

Haha, funny! We've had 3 red cards this year vs Pitbulls, Flinders and Mt Compass on the weekend. You may want to take a second look at the match sheet again buddy! Pretty sure the only player to see red that day was one of your reserves

Are you sure you're not confusing us with Mt Compass whom you played at home first round. We are both maroon so it's easy to do. Valley definitely didn't have anyone sent off in either game against you guys. The A game was quite civil I thought compared to some others we've played.

Yes Parafield have forfeited the remaining reserves fixtures & I believe East Adel may have done the same.

GREAT first post SCP. Get a new login and come on her and make up shit. Where was there ever mention of anyone even being sent off in this game?

Perhaps you can post the match report on here so we all can see who got sent of for spitting and clear this up for good?

There have been two spitting incidents in two different games for us this year. One incident was witnessed and dealt with by the referee and the other was missed.
Its a disgusting act that can turn a game into a brawl and should not be tolerated.

I completely agree, spitting should not be tolerated. Both alleged incidents in our game on the weekend were not witnessed by the referee (or he just couldn't be bothered acting on them). I personally saw the first incident however when a Mt Compass player turned and faced our full back and spat directly at him. He argued that he was spitting dirt from his mouth which I would understand, however any normal person would not turn and face an opposition player standing next to them and spit in their direction.

I can't comment on the allegations against our player as I was at the other end of the park. However all our players have been spoken to and warned that this kind of behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in club enforced suspensions.

Really, what whining was that? Was that when I was justifiably upset after watching your striker spit in our players face? I won't mention his nationality, what does it matter? The ref missed that, but didn't miss the same player show his true colours later when telling the ref f*** off.

As for alleged spitting by one of ours I didn't see it, but am disappointed even at the allegation.
