Easy mate... Don't know where you boys get your cockiness from. Aside from today (congratulations by the way, if Gully put their chances away they would've buried ya) your teams occasional good form always comes on that primary school ground that vaguely resembles a football pitch where no one else can actually play good stuff on and is reduced to coming down to your teams level.

Well Doc plays for Vista, so not sure if they'll be mid table div three any time soon. The rate you lot are going your reputation will once again hold you back, but hey, at least you have the best facilities in div three!

Without the Plympton - Raptors Result

Munno Para 34
Plympton 25*
TTG 24 (11)
Pirie 24 (8)
P/Hills 20
Raptors 19*
Polonia 17
San Marco 16
South Coast 13
Seaford 10

* Denotes Game in hand.

Quite a few shock results this week see's the cellar dwellers gain some points, with none of the top 4 (Bar Plympton tbd) Registering a win.
Para Hills are in with a sneaky shout with their easyish run home, but you'd think 3/3 wins are necessary.
Plympton Look Vulnerable having to play the 3 of the top 4 teams in the final rounds, so its still up for grabs despite poor results for Gully and Pirie today.

what a ripper game by the polonia boys!! smart move to absorb the pressure and play uphill and against the sun to start, went down 0-2 in the first half hour, got one back before HT to make it 2-1 going into the change, came back to lead 3-2 in about 15 mins at the start of the second half, pirie had a slight implosion for a short period and ended up with a send off, ofcourse blaming the ref for everything and anything lol, they did well to get one back and level it 3-3 but polonia pressed hard and a great header in the last five minutes made it 4-3 for the white and red. The crowd was going ballistic and at full time one of the angry local supporters got ugly and tried to attack the ref but luckily a few level headed mates sorted him out, as that sort of thing can see your whole club in a bit of trouble.
HEY POLONIA!!!!

Great result for Polonia especially having to travel all the way to Port Pirie.
Polonia has played some great games this season without results that it deserves. The club has had to change the team every week due to so many boys going to the Euro 2012. For many weeks some players had to play 2 games.
Yes, Hey Polonia!!!!!!!
What was the result in the B game?

Congratulations to Polonia on the win, I am glad for you guys it was a great result, but I just have to say a couple of things about the referee. There was one of the most blatant penalty decisions I have ever seen turned down, running into goal, and brought down from behind which would have made it 3 - 0 to Savoy, and you would think a safe result. A young lad was sent off who did not say a word, just for being in the general vicinity of a vocal crowd - the kid is the quietest at the soccer club - I don't think he has ever had a yellow card!!!!!!! An off side goal was over ruled by the ref. The linesman had his flag up for about a minute he could not believe that the ref had allowed it. The Polonia goalkeeper got crunched in a body clash (hope he is ok) and was getting treatment for at least 5 minutes during the second half......which ended up running 42 minutes. Savoy had 2 players sent off, 2 penalties denied, an offside goal allowed and a short second half. Seriously one of the worst performances I have seen. Again take nothing away from Polonia, they certainly deserved to get something from the match, but there were comments made by neutral observers which made me think it wasn't just me?

Mate, I'm bloody sore today! Hahaha Whoever got the knee in the back did a good job!

Must admit, the referee was awful. Obviously, very happy with the win but I have to say that no wonder games sometimes get out of hand. We had the same referee against Seaford at the beginning of the season and one of our players was handed a red for a tackle which would have been yellow at best - as for the rest of the game, his decisions were terrible.

Without being biased, the first tackle (or "penalty") in my eyes wasn't there - 50/50 at best. Having said that though, I was having a chat to a few of your Ressies players behind the goal and agreed that you were unlucky not to have been awarded the second. Unfortunately for your lads by that stage, I think he had brandished the two reds and clearly felt a certain way which referees shouldn't allow (emotions getting in the way).

From all of the lads from Polonia, thanks for the hospitality and the spread after the game. I'm sure I'll get stuck into that carton through the week ;)

i didnt hear a word in the first half, pirie 2-1 up.
ten mins later 3-2 polonia... ref gets abused left right and centre... that wont do u any favours... in any league...ofcourse he will retaliate... especially after giving clear warnings. its not like he drove 250kms thinking" fk it, im just gonna fk these guys over today" his decisions were shite both ways, its just that we kept our cool a bit more... i can understand its fking frustrating in the heat of the moment and even more so when you are losing ...

Well done to the polonia lads, good to see you guys buying a few drinks over the bar and coming back to the club for something to eat after the game, can't say as much for some of the other clubs. The ref in the a's was bad but poor discipline and some poor defending in the second half cost us. Best of luck for the last three games, hope to see you next year. Well done in goals in the b's too big fella, could have been alot worse if not for you

IIRC it was his 2nd yellow after a reckless first tackle. I must admit though Ive seen some baffling refereeing decisions this year as I have some linesman decisions. I guess it comes down to consitancy. I can handle a bad ref as long as its both ways and not blatant favouritism.

gotta disagree with that bit hatchet - South coast VS Munno Para game on Sunday the ref was f- ucking terrible both teams laughing at him coz nobody knew what was going on. he booked one of the Para boys coz after he said "oh come on ref" about a decision. i think he booked 80% of the lads on the pitch. it ruined the game, there was no flow at all.....which to be fair probably helped us more than Para coz they couldnt get anything going.
this referee wanted it all to be about him and how he "was in charge" it was a disgrace. worst ive seen and ruined a good, clean game.

I see your point but my point was that I can't stand favoritism. One of the better refs we have had was plymptons own ref who officiated after the official ref pulled his hamstring.
