Re: Sunday Results - 22nd July 2012
3/4 of the downs squad plus a few from farm and gardens.
When was the last year that a state amateur under 23 side was picked? Would be interesting to see who would be in an under 23 squad now given the amount of young players in the amateurs these days

kirreh from east would be around the mark
matteo from pontian
osman form fulham
evan and cocksy from farm
not sure on a keeper though

Docherty is a very good player. I'm thinking more from an under 23 perspective though like they used to do

Think Munno Para's keeper S.Doolan would push any Div 1 keeper for a state spot!haywood djablowme wrote:Some changes Doc

If it is an amateur side being picked most of those players wouldn't be eligible would they?

Well he got good offers from Div 1 clubs this year but I think him and the rest of Munno Para's squad will stick together next year and push for a top half finish!!

Re: amateur state side
come on gabba... you of all people know there is a lot of work to be done to get to div 1 and it is going to take plenty of time! If he had good concrete offers I'm sure he would have taken them up! After all, that's why he left in the first place, to try and get a spot with a big club!Yo gabba gabba wrote:He is helping the club were he stated his football get to Div 1, not that his had to do much this year but next year he will be a massive asset to the team!jogger wrote:Is that why he went back to div 3 this year?MP Magician 13 wrote:Quoting yo gabba gabba
