I saw that too.
Didn't look like a massive amount of force from the (poor) video I saw, but IMO any intentional aggressive contact should mean a minimum 1 year ban from football. We simply have to have zero tolerance on this or the game is on the slippery slope.
BTW it wasn't the Germans, it was the Benfica CAPTAIN, Luisao. Great example to all youngsters out there.

the referee should get suspended for diving. Apparently FIFA can't/won't do anything about it as it was an unofficial match.
