Jets 1 Gardens 2

Fairly even game that Jets just edged, hit the bar and a cast iron penalty turned down late on. That said gardens with 2 first half goals ruled out for offside.

I hear a player spat the dummy with a free kick and played it out for a throw in
Anything more you can add GIAE?
What would YOU DO :D
The young boys said unto him....."go up baldhead, go up"......so he did, rose like a salmon and nodded the ball into the net......1 nil! :-)

Sending a message to the players up front to not stand in a straight line
was the call before he sent the ball to the sideline ..!!!

Not sure it was well received but he did have a point
Can't say I would have done that 2-1 down 15 to go in a cup game !!!

Farm won 4-2 on penalties. Finished 1-1 at FT.

Sturt hit the post and missed an open goal in ET. Farm had lots of chances and missed a 1 on 1.

Penalties settled it. AND U GO!!!

Why didn't redders take a pen?

Put my hand up. Goldstone didn't get to take one either. Both teams had there chances to win it in extra time. All the best to Farm in the Semi-Finals.

Nice day to watch downs v knights down south. Thought I'd make a day of it so I got up extra early to take a trip down the coast and go whale watching.....didn't see Eff all unfortunately....
Went to the game and the downs flogged the pants off the knights 4-0 should of been more.....luckily the downs played Ben mcmullen, who reminded me of a humpback....not exactly Wat I was hoping to see but at least it wasn't a waste of a day

If there were any neutral spectators they would have been happy as it was fairly end to end in ET.

Vale 0 - 2 Gardens

Didn't see a whole lot of the game. Ebomo sent off with a few minutes to go (2 yellows) and gardens with a 90th minute penalty....

I saw the 1st 20 mins WB were 2-1 up. WB scored very early from a very dubious penalty, both players going for the ball I thought ? Then they added a second from a header from a well taken corner.10 mins later BOSA scored from a good build up .
Looked very even upto that stage imo.

Great run by the Southern Knights boys.

Obviously a tough ask to have any chance against Downs.

Bloodypassit... this bringing eskies initiative have been going around for years... so put simply, if they bring eskies ensure that you reciprocate

Watched the cup games at farm today, Sturt were a
Bunch of whingers Farm should have them away in
Normal time with a host of missed chances, Sturt scored
a spanking equaliser, had to feel sorry for Sturt captain
who missed an open goal in extra time then missed a pen
in the shoot out.

A grade Farm v East, farm in control all game East defender
with a horrendous error to give away first goal, second goal
was from a goal mouth scramble, with the third from a rocket
free kick, with the defenders East have they will be lucky to
stay up this year

The tooheys new was overpriced at $4....west ends I can understand but tooheys new?....think the downs guys went in after the game tho....ur club wouldn't have been that busy since your last STD group meeting. No kraig Andrews today for the downs?....is Mottsy keeping him fresh for the final or injury?....if injured must be serious nothin less than a car wreck would stop that guy from playing

We don't have much say in the prices....it's a Community Club...we're not as fortunate as some of the Clubs up north that have their own facilities.

Heard Kraig had chipped some of the toenail enamel from his recent pedicure
