goal.
Are you saying you got 6 games for your red card? Sounds VERY harsh unless you did actually threaten to bash him, I'm siding that you didn't. You've been around too long to go down that path.
Wasn't this your last game of the season anyway, or was that a decision made after the game?
My exact words were "No wonder you f'n idiots get threatened by people"
It was certainly the wrong thing to say, as soon as the red card was dished i was off. I deserve a red card, I deserve 2 matches.
As I said - the ref has realised his error - and is going down the path of making my actions out to be worse than they were to save some face for the most RIDICULOUS decision in calling the game off.
I've never had a red card in the amatuer league (maybe one), and all of a sudden im going round threatening to bash referees. What I said was wrong, no mistake, but 6 games is laughable.
GIAE - after the game decided that playing was enough for me, because i let my frustrations allow me to act in an inappropriate manner (the red card for dissent). And thought it was time to finish up - then act like a peanut.
If you actually got the red card for dissent and this is in the refs report then you should appeal. Dissent is only a bookable offence.
I would suggest that we all have bad days but allow yourself to cool off before giving the game away. Remember, you're a long time retired. I threatened to quit in pre season after a terrible game, the week after I realised why I love the game so much.

Law 12 states that, "A player is sent off and shown the red card if he…. uses offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or gestures.
Six weeks is probably reasonable considering it's at least what you'd get in other sports..

I am struggling to inderstand the point that you are making because that isn't dissent!
I also believe the standard for the offense you have quoted is 2-4 games.
It appears trevor isn't quite as clever as he thinks.
About 4 years ago I got 5 games just for Calling the ref a c o c k head so this seems about right.... Looks like ARBE are finally getting a few reality checks.

For a bloke that goes on about other people being stupid etc, you sir are a muppet. Read it in this thread, he stated he said 'no wonder you f'n idiots' etc etc. now forgive me if im wrong, but that seems to me that it could be deemed offensive, insulting or abusive. Congratulations on making yourself look like the idiot

How does it feel to be owned by someone you thought was an idiot?
thats bulshit if they change the result. the handorf striker was the one who started it by kicking the goalkeeper. then another handorf player started saying racial comments. and somehow we get the blame for starting it abit crap i reckon lol

im pretty sure saying no wonder you f'n idiots get bashed is dissent you muppet.
bit like a german turning to a jew and saying, no wonder you guys got gassed....
you are so wrapped up in your own stupidity you have no idea. just shut up you twat. ive OWNED a dog smarter than you
Not the first time hahndorf racially abuse a player!!! Happened to us against them this season and the ref let them get away with it along with punching that same player from behind.. Reported to the league about racial abuse but off course no action taken. Calling a player a black cunt is not on and I will let everyone know what was said cos they seem to get away with it all the time... Feel for RBE cos they would have got punished by the ref which is always in their favour..
You guys tread a fine line and have been known to put a toe over it....It has worked for you as your position
on the table has shown, good on you for that.
But don't come on here and bitch because you didn't get the benefit of the doubt when things were a tad blurry.
Live by the sword and die by it...another expression
Good luck with the rest of your season, you guys are a quality side and deserve promotion

I will type slower for you, so you can keep up.
Cantona said he was sent off for dissent, I then stated that you can't be sent off for dissent. Which part are you struggling with?
Saying "no wonder you guys get fucking bashed" is foul and abusive language NOT DISSENT!
Now either go away and show me how you can be sent off for dissent or behave yourself, as the laws of the game clearly state that dissent is a cautionable offence ONLY!
Here's a clue for you - there are 7 reasons you can receive a red card, the question you need to answer now is
is dissent one of them?
The answer to that might help you keep up with the conversation.
Your keeper is a w a n k e r who has little man syndrome, always throwing knees and elbows so I doubt he was an innocent party in all this. This is about the fifth or sixth incident in 12 games everybody can't be wrong.

Dissent = yellow, swearing = yellow... Why put up two yellows when you can put up one. Thats how you get sent off for dissent... You swear and threaten someone whilst doing it.
If you threaten a ref, even once in your life, and the ref talks up a situation or whatever, and you cop it, thats your own fault. He has rightly sent a player off for dissent, as there was swearing and threats involved. Move on, concentrate on the football at hand, help the club get back to div 1.
I can understand why Childsy got sent off.. Players have been sent off for less.. regardless of what anyone says, he took the red card on the chin, walked off the pitch and has clearly admitted his guilt ( not many people do this I must add). 6 games is bullshit btw. The grey area is the whole abandonment issue???? Either the ref has way over- reacted or was genuinely concerned for his safety. It doesn't take much for them to feel the later.. After what has happened in the past and the fact that you feel very vulnerable when the game flares up. They are on there own. They don't have team mates and supporters to back them up. The ref has obviously felt RBE has crossed the line on this occasion. Right or wrong, RBE fate will be influenced greatly on the refs report...
You are all missing the point completely! If the ref felt unsafe it would have been from the hahndorf players. United19 you are the w a n k e r! The redblue keeper is one of the most civil down to earth and level headed players i have ever seen.

If you swear and threaten then it no longer becomes dissent it becomes foul and abusive language or even an act of viiolent conduct, BUT NOT DISSENT!
Dissent is only a cautionable offence.
Foul and abusive language is a send off offence, not a caution.
Are you suggesting that he was now sent off for 2 bookings, 1 for dissent and 1 for swearing. If this was the case he would have been shown both yellows and then the red and would only be getting a 1 match ban.
Either way, the laws of the game state that dissent is not a red card offence.

Thanks for the friendly banter Englishman.
I see the point you are trying to make. Cantona says he was sent off for dissent, however he obviously was sent off for abusive/offensive behaviour. While the referee may have said it was dissent at the time, he is still going to put the R6 code on the scoresheet next to his name which is what counts. End of story.

that was my point from the start - if the ref has put in his report that is was for dissent then the appeal will be withheld and the red card rescinded.

you would hope so, isnt there a ruling about any game that is abandoned for whatever reason, and as long as at least 70 mins is played. that result will stand ? just asking cos I dont know ?
the SAASL have deemed the ARBE vs Hahndorf game a null and void result. NO team will get the points, so in essence, its like the game never existed
Below is why the game got called off. Still amazes me how this was deemed null and void, effectively blaming RBE for the incident.
Both teams left scratching thier heads when the game was called off.

I heard a rumour that RBE's coach was waving a gun around at the end of the game, threatening to kill everyone. At one stage he turned the gun on it's side, we all though that's the killing position!
