Southern Knights ( 0 ) Para Hills West ( 2 )
...........................................Mills, Alves
Knights were hoping to continue on their unbeaten run but seemend a little "hungover" from their Extra Time-Penalty-Cup victory over Fulham United the previous week.
The side was relatively unchanged apart from the inclusion of Ben "Tradie Of The Week" Vidgeon to cover the loss of leading goalscorer David Mooney.
Knights did play some good passing football but Para Hills West more direct game, fed from the persistent long clearances by Richard Watkins,
proved to be the winning style on the day.
Stuart Blyth and Ben Vidgeon had solid games for Knights but Tom Foglia, Scott Bradley and Andrew Alvino found it difficult to penetrate Wests defence and defensive midfielders.
After 24 goals in their last 7 games Knights had one of the few games this season where they have failed to score.
Hopefully the sharpness and confidence will return for the trip to Marden to face Division 2 leaders MSSC Blue Eagles this Sunday.

Reserves
Southern Knights ( 1 ) Para Hills West ( 7 )
Southern Knights Reserves were once again their own worst enemy as they seemed to be taking the game right up to Reserve Division 2 runaway leaders Para Hills West.
In both the away encounter and this home encounter Knights were very competitive until early send offs and also the loss of players to supplement the senior side, cost them dearly.
Apart from that, a very comprehensive victory for Para Hills West .
