Wonder who played for Greenock????

Not sure we didnt do a card check, but we were told by another club we should do one, but at the end of the day we only got ourselfs to blame, we actually played quite well, but just didnt take alot of our chances, was a bit short on defenders yesterday and they took their chances when presented to them. Was just one of those days you get in football.

I hadn't heard that in relation to card checks. To be fair to Greenock i thought they were one of the better sides we've played this season. They are quick and move the ball around. I'm not surprised they are up there.
Having said that, as was said much earlier in the year, the league is pretty tight and on their day any team is capable of beating any other.

There are alleged claims from SAASRA match officials and potential evidence from the media that Greenock have player(s) playing both Saturday and Sunday comps for two different clubs, which is obviously against the league rules and just stinks of cheating and deceit.
Should they allege that these players are duly registered when a card check is requested; there's nothing to say they, and/or the second club, haven't registered a person under two different names, maybe used a photo several years apart and with a different haircut.
It's come to the forefront now, as Greenock have started taking points off teams who are legitimately in the running for promotion.

How have clubs in our div gone this season with injuries, i know mount compass had their share early on in the season. We are going to have to dig deep with 8-10 guys out this week, with many reserves having to step up and a few juniors having to step up to the B's, thats football though, just wondering if angkor have had many yet as they seem to be strolling the league so far?

We are just getting our team back together...smashed with injuries for 1st part of the season to key players!!!

Tremendous effort today by our a's credit to the b's who stepped up, 6-1, shame for the b's who had to sacrifice for the a's, they lost 5-2.

Great to finally have players comin back from injury. It makes a massive difference.

Ref was a bit dodgy in the A's not allowing slide tackles at all,
His reason behind it was that him personally was trying to eliminate slide tackles from all Amature league game because of to many players gettin injured. Wtf????? He can't just make his own rules.

Compass Cows results,

B's lost 1-2. Very unlucky not to have taken a point.

A's lost 2-5. Usc had 2 fortunate goals a 2-2, which got their heads up. Fitness told for Cows with 4 A player's havg to play parts of the b game due to absences. Fair play to Usc though, they probably were the better team on the day. Hope lad who went off with the knee injury is ok.

What a battle in the a's, thought we had them, to go in at 4-1 down at half time we said at half time we can get back in this, and credit to our boys we did, fought back to 4-4, but ran out of legs in the end, angkor really are a good side and if they keep that team together they will be in div 1 in no time!!!

Tough games for Torrens Valley today, missing 12 players in one weekend! Ref was disgraceful! Pitbulls like to dish it out which I don't mind but boy they can't take it when it's given back!

Fought hard all day but walked away empty handed. Hope we can get a few back next week after a couple more injuries today.
